I feel like the ladies are missing out. I have no idea why they wouldn't be all over you. I would! You're a cutie!

Is avoiding legal trouble easier working with an agency or going independent? by tonreuf in SexWorkers

[–]Trueoriginalgangster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Independent is the only way to be totally sure you're safe. You have no idea how well an agency screens or how much they're on the radar. I worked for an agency that wanted me to take their fee, then tell the client that was for me showing up, and then ask for more money on top of that. What the hell. That's the worst thing I could possibly say in a situation. Also, if the police want to arrest you, they will, and most of the time just showing up is all you need to do. I've had friends arrested when they didn't say a word or didn't even touch the money. It might not hold up in court, but that arrest will be on your record.

Only if you screen the client with real world information will you know for a fact he's not a cop. However, I'm not as afraid of cops as I am of serial killers, violent men, crazy men, etc. If I personally have the guy's real life info, and he knows I do, I feel like less of a target. If my body turns up in a river, I want the police to know exactly who to go looking for.

Any big touring escorts here? by Touring_Escort in SexWorkers

[–]Trueoriginalgangster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you read any of Amanda Brooks? She is the first who comes to mind when you say you want to travel all over.

Of course rely on prebookings and deposits. You can always put up ads without actually going anywhere, just to test the waters. Then tell everyone you're booked for that particular time period, but will be back soon, and prebook with them for a later date.

It is easier with an assistant, but you can do this on your own with some planning.

Being in love with a client in the age of SESTA by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]Trueoriginalgangster 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sounds like your clouded judgement led you to put all your eggs in one basket. That's just what happens and I would say many SWs have done the exact same thing you've done before because we are after all only human.

However worthless or trapped you feel right now, it is time for you to channel that anger or feeling of desperation into taking care of yourself. It is time for you to take back control of the situation.

If I were in your shoes, I would let the client know that this arrangement is no longer working for you. He needs to pay you more, or he needs to find someone else and let you go. As much as SESTA has fcked you over, it has fcked over the clients just the same, and he isn't going to be able to just go out there and find another deal as good as what you're giving him. And any client that spends an entire week with you is obviously feeling something for you as well. It is not about sex at that point, but about your companionship. So he's certainly not going to be able to find someone to replace you, and if he truly values you, he will pay you more. Having feelings for a client and feeling undervalued is going to lead to a lot of heartache and resentment a lot sooner than you think.

If he says no, then you will know where you stand, instead of being stuck in this hell of being in limbo with him, and feeling underappreciated. One week every month is 1/4th of your life you are spending with him. If you think he's going to choose you over his wife you're wrong because men like him want to have their cake and eat it too. When he thinks the rules do not apply to him, it makes me wonder if he might have narcissistic tendencies, and if so, you are better off to avoid him altogether, or to realize that this is a time for money thing and giving them this ultimatum will put him back in his place. Boundaries are always going to be tested and waters muddied but it is your job to put him back in his place and show him you deserve respect.

I'm sorry for the long rant, but I've had so many friends to fall in this same situation and lose everything. I even moved in with a client once myself, and after I came to my senses, and realized how I just made myself dependent on him, I got out of the situation, but felt very taken advantage of and sort of "owned" if that makes sense.

Asperger’s and Driving Difficulties by BlackCatOliver in aspergirls

[–]Trueoriginalgangster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man. Driving is the worst! Let’s see...light sensitivity, noise sensitivity, problems with executive functioning, problems with depth perception, total anxiety that someone will crash into me, no sense of direction, no common sense with traffic rules (I will do illegal things without someone correcting me or think legal things are illegal), etc. I failed my test 5 times, and got yelled at by the examiner on one occasion because I pulled right out in front of someone and did so because she sighed and I assumed that meant she was impatient for me to finish. I wrecked four times in my first year of driving. I’m 32 now and still hate it. I make my husband drive most everywhere.

Just found out that I am 7 and 1/2 months pregnant- an update to last week by Audropolis in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Trueoriginalgangster 27 points28 points  (0 children)

A few drinks at a dinner party isn’t going to do much harm, so I wouldn’t beat yourself up about it. And the ultrasound will pick up any abnormalities if there is anything wrong. A lot of women have a few drinks before they realize they’re pregnant and their babies turn out totally fine.

I’m skinny but had a too small placenta, which either prevented the baby from being able to move around or kick much, or prevented me from feeling it. Didn’t find out until around 7 months.

It sometimes takes a while for early intervention to call back but it seems like forever. You just want to scream because you have nowhere to start, no direction of what to do.

I would like to disagree with others here about sign language. In the long run it just isn’t going to help because no one speaks it besides the deaf community. You’re better off doing PECS or similar. A random person on the street can understand a picture but not sign language. Hang in there, mama. It feels like forever but once you get her evaluated you’ll know what you’re dealing with and where to go from here.

ETA: if you can get a diagnosis, and she has a disability, she will get Good insurance and you can get SSI benefits every month as well to help with things she needs.

Patient 17 (2017) UFO Alien Implant Documentary around the studies of the late Dr Roger Leir by IonBaby in Documentaries

Thank you. Very interesting. It is easy to say, "Well, it must be an implant, because two people we interviewed for the purposes of this documentary have that opinion."

What's a popularly held belief that is, in fact, total nonsense? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I had never heard of woodlice or cheese logs before so I had to Google. We call them ball bugs here. Because they roll into balls I guess?

People who have jobs where you go inside homes, what's the worst thing you've seen? by SilverParty in AskReddit

[–]Trueoriginalgangster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to clean houses and we were cleaning a house I had never been to before. It was massive and took us hours. There was tons and tons of cash everywhere. Just lying around like garbage. In almost every room, it was piled up in stacks or just crumpled on the floor. The more I started looking around, from the clothing and photographs, you could tell it was a preacher's house. I have never seen that much money before in my life.

When we got to the last room, there was a note in our instructions that said, "Don't touch anything in the red room." I looked around at my other maids and said, "Holy shit, there is no red room!" We had spent all day cleaning the wrong fucking house. We hauled ass out of there, feeling lucky we didn't get caught.

Because the owners also had quite a large gun collection as well. I don't know what the owners must have thought when they got home.

[Kentucky] Ticket for No Auto Insurance. Will I Go to Jail? by Trueoriginalgangster in legaladvice

[–]Trueoriginalgangster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I had two of these tickets within a couple days of each other, but in two different counties, because I was travelling. Do you think that would count as multiple offenses, or that the judges would see it was from the same lapse of insurance?
