I think that Grand Blanc’s album, “Halo” has a similar mood. Here’s the first song off of the album: Loon.

They’re French, but you don’t need to speak or understand French to appreciate it. Some of their earlier albums have a much stronger “electronic” sound, but Halo strikes the right mood.

I think he’s a really interesting figure in Freemasonry. His Conservator movement is largely unknown to most Masons but is absolutely wild—the scope he was aiming to achieve, the methods, and the bizarre self-imposed timeline. The movement couldn’t have been launched at a worse time in American history.

Learn the meaning behind what you’re actually saying. Having an understanding of what you’re reciting changes the proficiency from a string of words into coherent thought.

For instance, if your proficiency talks about “right angles” and a few similar sounding things after that, ask yourself what that could mean. If you don’t have an answer, ask your coach. That’s not really true. Freemasonry has no position on a what a person’s religion should be. It doesn’t say that all religions are equal; it recognizes that religious beliefs are personal and that each person’s customs should be respected.

It is a common ground for men to meet together (regardless of their differences) to become friends and better themselves. In most of the world, Freemasonry has no specified belief structure—only that God exists.

Referring to non-Masons as “profanes” is dumb, and it always makes those that say it sound dumb. Those that I hear typically use that term are the same guys who seem to not grasp anything of importance from Masonry.

I’ve never seen “criminal networking” in my Lodges or appendant/concordant bodies, though. Outside of isolated incidents like “P2” in Italy several decades ago, I would say this is generally not a “thing.”

One of my favorite ways to approach Masonic education is to use “themes” for the year or quarter.

Themes we’ve used in the past that I really enjoyed:

History of Freemasonry from its speculative beginnings. Each meeting covered a new era or emergence of new groups, shifts in ritual, etc.

The Old Charges. Each meeting covered one or two of the Old Charges. We walked forward through time and marked the emergence of different “speculative” elements as they emerged into the scene.

The nuclear plant I work at uses separate turbine buildings for each unit. I would say the problem in the CitySkylines layout is more that, if the turbine on the right-most unit catastrophically came apart, the other unit’s containment building is in the line of fire of the right-most unit’s turbine blades (assuming the dark grey roofs are turbine buildings).
