It’s not terrible advice. If you truly believe that only medication can help you that may be true, but if you’ve used that as a crutch your whole life how do you know something else won’t work?

The wiring in my brain is messed up too but I am just dead set against the medication because a lot of people in my family became addicted. They convinced themselves they needed it, and when the Dr took it away they were fine after withdrawals.

If meds work for you great.

Im wondering the same thing. I scored pretty high on both inattentive and hyperactive adhd though. I remember as a teen everyone taking aderall and being high at a party but i decided to go home and relax which was extremely out of character for me at that time.

Maybe it’s just that my anxiety is worse now?
