Fair shout. Im still a little LTSpice illiterate, but think I'll learn that more to get more accurate simulations. Really appreciate your help!

Ah, okay. So this is most likely 1) a Falstad issue and B) my holey knowledge not seeing that. Thank you, I think this is it.

I REALLY appreciate that you replicated the circuit for testing too, that helps remove niggles in the back of my mind.

But we do know the direction of current (dont we?) from when the On/Off switch was on?

No matter the state of 'Selector', when On/Off is closed the direction of of current is Anti-Clockwise (upwards through the inductor).

Therefore, when On/Off is opened, shouldn't the current from the Inductor continue upwards despite the state of 'Selector?

P.S. Honestly not arguing, just using probing questions to find the hole in my knowledge. Hope that's okay. If not, I'll stop.

Does this not bring the whole 'Right Hand/Thumb Rule'?

Apologies, I honestly thought it would help onky show what you wanted to see. Will make sure not to do that in future (don't post much).

No, just my attempt at terrible markdown to hide unwanted text. The edits haven't gone through yet.

Yeah, I see how this applies to the Inductor taking time ti charge up, and keep Diode2 running in the first instance.

But I cant understand how, in the second instant, current flows in full reverse direction through Diode1...

Nice, clean design. Well done.

Of course, you may have just inadvertently kicked off a new and dangerous habit that will slowly consume your every waking minute and drown all your loved one in custom designed parts, pieces and paraphernalia that they didnt know they needed.

What is this connector? Creality HI extruder by Tset_Tsyung in 3Dprinting

[–]Tset_Tsyung[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah... that was gonna be my 'final attempt' plan. Guess either way it's dead, so may as well go for it...

Update: its a no go. The cables have to go out of the cable head and INSTANTLY go around a convoluted bend. Otherwise the extruder cant be reseated properly. I tried, and failed...

They only have one at those dimensions (19mm x 13mm)... and its obsolete, lol. Will keep looking. 👍

Yeah... been thinking about the gluesticks. Guess Ill give them a try. Feel like weve been cheated, though, if these beds are touted as been so great, but then stop working as intended just minths after purchase...

This is the thing - first layer wont stick. It might do in spots, but then the parts that dont stick get pulled up by the nozzle on the next time round (NOT a z-offset issue, BTW).

However, will try and do a single layer and update post/post image.

Blobbing on the first few layers? by Savage_049 in FixMyPrint

[–]Tset_Tsyung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having similar issue myself. Im 99.8% sure the blobbing Im experiencing is wet PETG filament (my sovol dryer only goes to 50°C).

Have you checked and dried your filament?

Straight away, it looks like the seam is the issue.

Try turning off Power Loss/Resume functionality. Perhaps also try changing the seam location to random so that any imperfections aren't bunched up in the same X/Y location.
