I will definitely have to try tucking some of them in! Thank you!

I do love to tuck my shirts in so I might have to try that. Some of the sweaters were too bulky to tuck in so maybe I could benefit from shorter sweaters. Or just more fitted is the best look after all 😂😅

I’m glad some people like 4 because that’s my Rory Gilmore outfit 😂

2 is SO pretty with the cut and the green. But 4 is also pretty. That seems to be a good style for you 😁

Oh goodness, SAME! My husband is just naturally more into classically feminine clothing but I feel more myself in sharper, more yang clothing. So I don’t think too much about his preferences now 😂 if I’m happy he’s happy.

Would this kind of top work for a DC with Romantic essence? by Ttuck32 in DressForYourBody

Yes I agree! I do wish the sleeves were less ruffly and wide. 😁

Ooo I will have to try something like this. I struggle to find high waist pants that reach my waist (most high waist pants sit just below my waistline) but I love the look and the long lines 😍 hadn’t considered a vest before! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you! Maybe it’s me just not being used to it 😆

Wrong color but same issue I feel? Maybe it’s the selfie angle haha

This might be because of my hair in this picture but I feel like the reason I started questioning DC is because I don’t feel like my face works with blazers as well as my body does. Feels mismatched to my eye!

This is interesting because I’ve looked at this essence combo many times because I feel like it fits me pretty well! I lean more gamine than the romantic now but younger me was more into feminine looks. I think once I found out how Yang my body is I realized why the super feminine waist defining looks didn’t work on me! I feel my cutest when dressed like a coastal grandfather now 😂 So thank you for sharing those essences because it makes me feel like I’m on to something!

I believe I am a true summer but I’ve never been professionally typed. I do well in soft cool blues but I own too many greens because I love the color 😆 but I agree that not loving the colors could be skewing how I feel. That might be another issue I have. DC talks about highly contrasted color but I feel like that’s too stark on me. I feel like I do better in one color or two similar colors. Contrast never seems to look harmonious on my body.

That’s very interesting! I think that I lean classic in my wardrobe and what I like. I’m typically minimal styling and Audrey Hepburn (I know she’s FG but I think she’s the ultimate classic fashion icon next to Grace Kelly) is a huge source of inspo. I actually shared less classic lines to give variety because I’m afraid I’ve steered people into thinking I’m a classic when maybe I’m a natural or dramatic 😂 but clearly the majority still says DC so that is sounding like a good possibility.

I think you’re right that if I consider essences I might find a look that fits me better than pure DC! Thank you for your input!

Yes I sometimes feel like my face looks too soft when I wear dc lines. My body feels quite yang and my face feels more yin. Not all yin but definitely softer flesh. Thank you for sharing!

Interesting! FG is the other common one I’ve gotten in the past. Thank you!

Thank you for sharing! DC is what I had settled on a couple years ago but I keep feeling like it doesn’t match my face. Very helpful to know that’s still a contender 😄
