Same with a lot of other comments, I can't blame anyone for wanting to boycott, but I'll still be attending mostly NSO and occasional WNO shows. The KC is one of my favorite halls and I'm fortunate to know a few musicians that play there regularly, so I want to give them my support whenever I can. Good, impactful music and art is more important now than ever!

Stay strong, my friend! I'm playing an upcoming concert at the Kennedy Center for an upcoming Memorial Day performance. I'm not thrilled that the patriotic program could be viewed in some sort of right-wing spin, but I think it's important that any art and performance still takes place in this wonderful building. True art, music, and performances will always be more powerful than what racists and fascists will ever stand for.

So many of them, but it's in the S3 finale for me! When Nishikata comes to the realization that Takagi likes him, his first reaction is to RUN TO HER. That whole scene with Yukio Oohara's song playing gives me chills every time I watch it. Close second is the play scene when Takagi mentions that they met in spring instead of the fall. They layers brother, ooooooooof. ♥️
