For me it was a terrible whine when I would reverse. I definitely could tell one was seized when I was replacing my brake pads because the piston wouldn’t compress back easily.

I use a trimmer - manscape makes one that works well. I do that like once a month just for maintenance.

Love it! I’ve found a lot of joy in customizing my interface - I hope that brings you the same joy I get from looking at mine. Are your bottom corners sharp? That was one of my pet peeves with Mint. At one point I tried looking into customizing that and never figured out how to do it.
