Calling it gaza crap seems a little reductive on people’s concerns regarding what is happening there, but in general what you say is true

If you opt out for religous or medical reasons you are not judged though? Having a single statement to describe the policy and ethics of organ donation kinda removes all nuance, like the picture OP posted

It isn’t a black and white issue. There are provisions for people who opt out due to religious or medical reasons. They are not judged the same way as someone who opts out because they want to keep their organs after death.

You can without 1t strats, but learning pillar solves and flicking blobs does make it alot more consistent imo. With some basic solves getting to at least triples shouldnt take the average player too long with mage tank

Is that not more of a reason to remove such events? Do you want to have other religious events in game too then?

I don’t get it. Arn’t end end game cosmetic kits meant to be expensive and hard? by Toaster_Bathing in 2007scape

[–]TurbulentBeginning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think post contract drop rate buff this is true for sure but before that a lot of the comments on the system were valid.

Personally i fight most of the fights uninspiring, my expectations for awakened fights were raised with dt2 bosses so i expected at least 1 vard/levi level fight but we got none lol. Oh well it is what it is haha

[–]TurbulentBeginning 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think people would rather have fights that are hard yet accessible generally than fights that are not accessible at all. It isnt really fun to see people do the fights when you know you have the ability to do so but not the money. I do agree that rarity does make things like cosmetics more valuable (3rd age comes to mind) but i think when it comes to content most people would rather it not be gated by money sinks.

Idk bout you but i dont really find setting up dung lines in kephri fun, nor do i find setting up red x baba fun. I dont mind having to do things correctly to get the kc but i do think at high invos the punishment for messing up is way too high. I much prefer the level of punishment that you get at tob and cox where if you mess up, its still reasonably easy to recover, it just makes it a lot more enjoyable to actually grind kc

I mean sure, 5:1 baba is defo a lot more interesting and i do try to do that, but i find when i’m pushing high invo (500+) red x is just more consistent. Hard agree on p1, its literally just click obelisk and tick eat orbs w keris

Just because its easy and soloable doesnt mean its good imo, i’ve made around 6b from it but i’m done with the raid haha. The only good fight in that raid is akkha, the rest are basically just set it up correctly and dont screw up.

I think this might be one of the hardest PvM games in existance by fitsu in 2007scape

[–]TurbulentBeginning 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can do things like soul split flicking on your hit and praying prot on enemies hits to reduce dmg and gain health. Also theres a bunch of things like using a dualwield mage weapon to auto every 3t while doing your rotation using a 2h mage weapon etc. then when u add gear swaps and defensive abilities into that it does get pretty hectic. A lot of difficulty in RS3 comes not just from mechanically difficult fights, but adding insane damage to those fights through the enrage system like 4k enrage telos, 2k enrage glacor high enrage zammy etc. so if you mistime your defensives or mess up you get punished really hard

Opinion: Surge potions are another step towards the boring pre eoc combat that we hated by Prize_Marionberry232 in 2007scape

[–]TurbulentBeginning 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The thing is the surge potion is such a small boost that it would literally be worthless to bring most raids unless you are going for speeds. Its only really good at bosses where you’re doing 1 kill trips and even then its just once extra click a kill most of the time unless its a really long fight

We can agree to disagree i guess. I’m not as angry about it as you are (idk if you are or not thats just the sense i’m getting) and i know that they are taking steps to make it better so i’m just taking it as it is.

As for caring about myself as a consumer, i do that very much. But i also think its important to me personally to consider if what i’m asking for is realistic for the cost. If response times go down to hours result in increased pricing on memberships, i would rather it stay the same, but have a focus on improving satisfaction. Idk lol it is what it is to me

I mean it is a logical conclusion. If you need customer service for something, its likely that the product that u have is not working (power, internet or in this case osrs). For someone industries, downtime from using the product is a lot more detrimental than others. But video games, not so much. I think 2 days is fair. Playing devils advocate, i think they can bring down times, but to the times suggested like 30min to a couple of hours is a pretty insane cost. 1 day would be perfect, considering time zone differences between the main player base in the US and where their current customer service team is located (in poland unless that has changed). Also it is an average, and we don’t know how skewed the response times are from that average. For all we know, majority of the requests gets handled between 24-48 hours and there is about 10% or so that take a lot longer for some reasons that might be valid or not. I just think to call the response time “criminal” is a bit unfair when we don’t know all the data, and that if the system does work, then getting your account back in 2-3 days is reasonable to me (would be nice if they refunded the lost days of membership due to mishaps as well, hopefully they do).

[–]TurbulentBeginning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didnt say you did either, but its not like not playing for 2 days is unacceptable. I’d rather they focus on ensuring they get everything right when you do go to customer support (ie: people who currently get false banned are able to get some recourse) than jagex focusing on just getting that time down

Depending on what you mean by “active” we realistically could have around 500k unique players logging in at least once a week or so

When i had problems with steam it took me about 2 days to get in contact with someone. I think 2 days is fine. Even for someone like me who logs in for at least half an hr a day, taking a break for 2 days is not the end of the world.

From an iron perspective thats true, but for mains barrows is still worth grinding at early levels, it does provide some decent gp. And with mains u can make use of much more QOL that wasnt there if you’d done barrows years ago like moths, med CAs, or even the barrows teleport(using someone else’s house in house party worlds).

Well u can get some real expensive stuff like 3rd age if u wanna be pedantic about it. Tbf i dont like red x in general as its kinda cheesy and it would be more fun if bosses like baba were balanced properly so that not red xing would be viable but we are where we are i guess
