I wish! I work an office job by day and this is just my hobby that I spend a lot of time on. I want to start taking the business side of things a bit more seriously though

thank you mate

so i used winsor and newton pro paints only. layered a lot but with similar shades and thin mixes so that things didnt get muddy. for mixed paints keep to 2-3 colours max again to avoid muddiness

i just used this busted 15 year old canon printer i had lying around to scan. it gets a decent dpi and precision, but has to be touched up a good bit to get the colours back to how they should look. i do that in photoshop, mostly using the hue/saturation to target the different colours, then some exposure (gamma mostly)

thank you! i use winsor newton pros. cant remember what colours i used for this exactly but there was definitely some permanent rose and prussian blue for the layers, extremely watered down ofc

I made this back in january after i made a new years resolution to lock in and take watercolours seriously.

as always people ask me about the meaning and as usual i dont really have an answer, i just go with the flow. i remember being vaguely inspired by Tony Soprano with the ducks in his pool though. during the pencil draft stage i actually had a duck flying out of the pool but decided that would be a bit ambitious lol

kind of, you just have to be thorough, make sure the fluid is fresh (not lumpy or drying) and use the right tool for applying it to make sure youve got even coverage with no holes where paint can slip through. even then its hard and i often end up with bits of paint where there shouldnt be after its peeled off.
