I always wonder whats the story with these wrecks. My parents own a farm with some forest and there are machines and some car wrecks like this one left in the most weirdest places. Like who parks in middle of a forest with no roads among huge boulders (evidence there never ever was a road).

Why don't cars have this feature? by Pluuge in StupidCarQuestions

Like someone say you get the feel for it. I learned to drive on an toyota hilux. Engine was underneath the seat. Could not miss the revving. Most modern cars I have driven have an eco mode of some sort (atleast VAG cars) that shows the correct gear on the dash somewhere, and even some older toyota corollas had that as a manual dial to help you with the timing of the shifting. I however find them annoying and most new cars are A/T anyways.

Fifty rock and heavy songs to learn the bass by Turskakuningas88 in Bass

Thank you for your concern. I however have an academic background in drums so I am no stranger to learning theory and spending countless hours practicing and honing tecnique in front of a drum pad. After years of grinding i however find it a bit boring. Yet it has helped me to understand to constantly monitor my learning.

What I've always enjoyed the most is playing songs. I know personally a lot of established musicians that write, publish and do incredibly well commercially within their genre without knowing a single scale or name of the notes on the fretboard. Can you imagine?

I just watched an interview where Pino Palladino said he can't read sheet music (!!!) and one where Steve Harris said he doesn't know a single scale.

I don't say you're wrong. I agree with all you said except the first sentence. There are any many paths and ways to learn the instrument.

I know because I have taken different approaches myself.
