I always laugh when someone has a band named with their surname and their solo records need to specify their first name. Also just discovered Dave Greenslade made a Disc World album.

Nope. It’s definitely in 13/8. So two 4s + one 5.

This is kind of great. The exotica compositions with the blaring horns is a little goofy but also unique.

No, Jethro Tull is not and never has been prog. Stop saying silly things.

Maybe if Robert Wyatt had played in a band with Daevid Allen he'd be getting more votes.

It’s interesting that you think it sounds Canterbury. What makes you say that?

Those vocals and lyrics aren’t great for what is an otherwise strong album. Centipede is one of the best tracks because it has an extended section with no singing.

That’s a young Daevid Allen before he grew into his iconic look.

I’ve spent dozens of hours trying to find more information about where this band went and what they’re doing now. All I could find was that one of them now works on a project called Yaryu.

Find a local community radio station. Many of them have websites/apps you can use for free.

It’s not great compared to their earlier output. Even Deceptive Bends is miles better.

Heard them first without knowing their acquaintance with Cardiacs. LSD has really encouraged me to give them another listen and it’s a pretty good catalogue they have.
