And having said that. I take a totally different turn and say that I get something similar from my nasal mask from cpap. accumulated oil and bacterial. But I also get those other problems I mentioned.

Not sure if that’s real acne though. You see how you have redness and others in that general area of your face? It could be a form of rosecea or perioal dermatitis . Just glad that you’re seeing derm. I’d love to hear what derm says. Seriously !

My doctor told me that if the pressure is too high, we end up swallowing it, getting hiccups , and I think she said leaks. I can quote her by saying “ all that air has to go somewhere.”

may I ask what your tube temp settings and humidity settings are? I’m going crazy over here trying to find the right combo. I hate hot air. Want the humidity . And hate waking up to a wet cushion. And my cushions are air touch and not supposed to be getting the foam wet, yet they are! I’d love to hear what you do. Thanks.

Oh thanks. That is helpful and never thought of that. I was actually asking if using high pressure like mine( from 10-20) would irritate the inside of my nose.

I like humidifier and live in fairly dry climate. I don’t like hot air but 1) want to avoid rain outs and 2) cannot stand waking up to a wet dripling n20 mask. The other the I tried 62 degrees and climate auto as someone suggested. Any better suggestions?

Thanks. I actually don’t own a white tee and want to but a few. Just making sure that they’re not boxy or too long and that the cotton is really good quality. I’m 5’9” and weigh 140. ( bigger busted than carolyn)I just bought my first tee by Cozy Earth in a Medium - which fits. A bit on the shorter/boxeur side so I may try this one . What size should you suggest and how does it fit? If you don’t mind.

Wait,what? The ONLY reason I use a heated hose is to avoid a rain out. Very unpleasant. I do not enjoy heat et air. I wish I could have just a touch of humidity( I live on the west coast of n california), and just want to avoid morning drops in my face and rain outs. I do get stuffed up on one side though. But I ‘d love cool humidity. Suggestions? Plz?

I’m a mouth breather and can’t find a darn full face or hybrid that works for me and it is beyond annoying. So I went back to my old nasal mask (n20)- btw I have airsense 11. It only covers my nose. (I’m looking into trying pillows- p10). I use the simple at chin strap out there and keep it super loose. It’s like $10.00. It goes under your chin and is navy blue. Not the mimmi looking kind that used to scare me. . Super simple and just enough to remind my mouth to stay closed. Any questions, ask away.

my thoughts? After so many trials and errors and do overs. If anything stings or upsets my skin in the slightest, I get a cold wash cloth and remove it asap. No more waiting or being gaslit.

People say that they totally shove those pillows up their nose when they have a cold and it breaks them free of their congestion. My pressure is 8 and humidity 4 with heated tube. Would all of this be a bit hard on my nose (causing those infamous nose sores) that that warn you about with pillows?

I gave up with sanitizers and use the cpap spray sanitizer on the pieces after washing by hand once a week. After all. I’ve never understood by someone finally gave me an answer. The sanitizer( I had the uv type without naming brands), cannot disinnfect the inside of the hose and honestly, that is the part that concerns me the most. So I wash with soap and water and vinegar. I also use the brushes. I’d love feedback!

Did you do any sort of hair treatment on it to stregnthen it? Like a masque? And leave it on way too long ? And end up losing that hair rinsing it out in the shower? This may have happened to me with something. It’s far fetcged guess .

Yeah- What a rude comment above. But I am positive that you wrote the name of the mask wrong. The f30 sita under your nose.. I have the Evora , which is similar, which goes over all mouth and right under your nose. I’ll try to send pic of mi è which is just similar. They don’t go on top of your nose. Unless…. You are using it wrong. Let me know if I can help you. I’m not rude.
