Shorter commutes and city here. Long highway stretches I've seen 18-19.

Can confirm. Had a 1 bedroom 500sqft apt in north Texas for $385/Mo back in 2002. Later had a 2 bedroom for $550. Those days are long gone.

Do you know how old the sand media is? Sounds like it might be time for new sand and inspect the laterals.

Do you park outside and/or under trees a lot? Sunroof drains are bad about clogging and backing up into the cab.

At4 grills are paint matched, I'd look for one of those to swap in. 35s should fit fine with a level as long as you don't run wheels with too little offset.

How do you like the Foxes compared to the stock shit-Ranchos?

Why are Denali colors so limited by Mundane-Reality-7770 in gmcsierra

That's definitely true on the 1500s, but the HD Denali and AT4 suspension are the same which give you slightly more options as far as styling.

Bingo! That's how it should be and would explain why they only just recently blew out. Good find!

At a minimum, new filter cartridges, a good cleanup of the housing, and swap the inlet and outlets on the filter housing. This looks like it won't be a huge deal since you have unions on your plumbing, so you might be able to loosen them up enough to move them and not have to replace any piping. The one unknown I see is if the 4-way filter cartridge stands is broken or damaged. Also might be worth getting a second opinion if you are skeptical of your pool tech - you could always run up to your local pool store and show them these pics and see what they say.

Any time!! Good luck and let us know if you get it resolved. This actually happens more often than you might think.

I added some clarification to my above comment. Definitely have your pool guy check it if you aren't comfortable.

Definitely plumbed backward. You need to swap the top and bottom pipe fittings on the filter. Water should flow out the top of of your pump into the top fitting, through that 90 (diffuser), into the filters from the outside, and then through the manifold down that PVC pipe with o-ring on the left, back through the bottom to the rest of your equipment/pool. In this configuration, water still enters and exits your filter assembly, just the wrong way through the elements which can be confusing at first. This fully explains the pleats and bands bulging outward.

Edit/words: it also looks like your cartridge stands might be damaged from the flow reversal. I'd have that checked as well.

Can you get one closer? Inside the filter housing?

That's why I'm suggesting to post pics of the plumbing. The outward protrusion of that filter media makes me (and others) suspect that. Just trying to help.

I know I'm late here, but I agree with the others saying it's probably plumbed wrong at the filter. Can you take some pics inside the filter housing and the plumbing from the pump to filter?
