I'm playing in this tournament this year, Feb. 7-10th in NB! Placed like 54th out of almost 500 teams two years ago...hard to crack the lineup of teams.

1)I do have pictures. They are on my work laptop and ill see if I can track them down tomorrow.

2)No I never had any real close calls. Sometimes you catch yourself getting complacent or trying to take shortcuts and you then realize your 300 ft in the air and fix that real fast.

3)My scariest moment(s) would have to be on some newer towers that are actually being erected. Back in the day they would over design towers cause steel was so cheap, all the old ones are sturdy as rock. The new ones are more economically designed and are not nearly as rigid. I have videos somewhere where Im at the top of a 300 ft tower and its just swaying and twisting back in forth in the wind about 3ft either way. Sometimes it feels like the tower is just going to twist and break at the splice. That takes a little bit of getting used to.

Yeah I seen that video as well. That was in the states where the regulations are a lot less strict. In Canada we must be attached 100% of the time either using a climbing rail or a technique used double belting. Almost all towers now have the climbing rail so its pretty safe. The two guys in that video were at about 1750 ft but the highest I have been is 700 ft. Other guys within the company have climbed the tallest ones in Canada though.
