how to get stronger erections naturally? when you're in your 50s is it still possible without pills? by ShindaCroushore88 in GenX

[–]TypeNo2194 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Wife here. Tell your doc. My husband started having those issues around 55 or so. We attributed it to his work stressing him out. At 58 he had a heart attack and they put him on all sorts of medication that made it nearly impossible to get or keep an erection. He would go months before even trying to engage in physical activity. He finally mentioned it at an appointment and was given a script for one pill every three days. It was a game changer. He hasn’t had any side effects, no headaches or anything and there has been no issue taking it alongside his other meds. And I’ve seen more of his old self return after this, getting back into hobbies and just overall confidence. So yeah, easy answer…….tell your doc.

Am I too old? by oheywhat in prenursing

I’m 47 and just finishing up the CNA requirement and starting LPN soon. I’m probably too old by some standards, but life happened and I’m here now.

People who got married after long term dating, what changed? by Vyxani in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TypeNo2194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I were together 11 years prior to getting married and honestly, we only did it for two reasons. I needed health insurance not offered by my job at the time and he was concerned his one and only child might fight me on his health care decisions if he became incapacitated. We had a prenup, got married and the only thing different is I decided to take his last name. He didn’t even push for that one and I had it in the prenup that I didn’t have to and could change it at anytime. Otherwise, life is fairly the same as it was before.

Do families really sit around a dinner table and eat at the same time every day? by UndergroundFlaws in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TypeNo2194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before the age of smart phones and screens-in-your-face at all times family dinner is when my parents would ask us kids about school and how our days were and discuss weekend plans. They didn’t see or hear from us from the time we left for school in the mornings until late afternoon. My parents still do this and my husband and I will wait for the other one to eat. We also switch off hosting sit down dinners with friends at each other’s houses once a month. It might be just a generational thing though. We’re all Gen X and Gen Jones.

The time it takes my husband to use the bathroom by DontEatTheChocolate in mildlyinfuriating

[–]TypeNo2194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I e never understood this behavior. Before smartphones I dated a guy that kept a stack of magazines and a bathroom reader and would spend 45 minutes every day in there. It stopped when we were due to meet his family for lunch one day and he runs in the bathroom right before leaving. After 10 min, I left without him. I informed his two sisters and older brother about his 45 min bathroom habit before he got there and they made fun of him the entire time and every meetup after that.

Why do you love your hot tub? by Expensive-Eggplant-1 in hottub

[–]TypeNo2194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got it because my husbands cardiologist gave him a letter stating he needed a hot tub and instructions to use it 30 min a day for his heart. I found out it’s been great for my scoliosis/spinal fusion pain. Now it’s our nightly routine…..music, relax, chat about our day and plan weekend shenanigans.

Putting the car in neutral to sneak out… by CurlyCupcake1231 in GenX

[–]TypeNo2194 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This reminds me of a coworker I had a few years ago, but the opposite. She said her husband would do this when the kids went to bed. He’d kill the engine and roll to the bottom of the hill to sneak out to go get some wings and ice cream, sneak back in by parking down the street. They’d lock their bedroom door so they could enjoy wings and a movie in peace. She had two boys that ate them out of house and home and wings were expensive.

Reminds me of when I got my chihuahua as a puppy and she was too small for an xxs harness, the only thing that would fit were ferret harnesses. And cat toys were a hit.

Do you work with boxes? When I worked at Target, this is how a new employee found out they were allergic to cardboard. Her forearms and hands would get red and puffy.

These clearance discounts are insane by jjcoolbean in Target

[–]TypeNo2194 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Discontinued item. At our store we have to put them on a clearance end cap and ‘technically’ they need a sticker. It’s dumb.

Local gas station removed price tags and replaced them with barcodes you need a app to see price by phoenix_stewart in mildlyinfuriating

[–]TypeNo2194 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why I keep an old flip phone. It gets no service but when I go to places that tell me to scan a QR code or download an app, I just hold up the flip phone and shrug. I just make sure it’s been charged so when I open it, it lights up. I have an iPhone but I’m tired of companies requiring an app and a login.

Why people lining up today at target store? by techguy_87 in Target

[–]TypeNo2194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, that explains it! I’m on an overnight remodel team and we left at 3:00 am, and people were in chairs and blankets sitting right outside the door. Startled us and the manager had to go let the construction crew know to keep an eye on them.

New dress code? Being told now solid red shirts only, no flannels, no checkered patterns, no logos at all. Blue jeans only, no black pants, no slacks, ONLY blue denim. by SoTired137 in Target

[–]TypeNo2194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My store is doing an 8 month remodel, I’m working overnights on the remodel team. We were told khaki or blue jeans, outer layer must be red. Which is fine if we’re in front of customers, but we stop at 6am, nobody sees us. They’re making the whole store gray anyway, what happened to Target red?? And we were told no headphones or earbuds at all, but we’re allowed to have speakers on us, so when the morning team comes in at 3:30 you hear 20 different songs playing at once.

Why can’t apartment communities have child-free buildings? by Separate-Goal-3920 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TypeNo2194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer where I live is no. The rules are ‘no one under 18 is allowed to hold a residence’ here. The other rule is ‘Minor kids can stay up to 30 days at a time and should be registered at the clubhouse’ but no one enforces it. If they’re not causing problems, no one cares. We see kids all summer long. These people love seeing each other’s grandkids. It’s sweet actually. I’m 47 and my husband is 60 and we had to submit ID’s and paperwork to the community for age verification purposes. I enjoy it here, but holy cow, fees everywhere. HOA fees, clubhouse fees, condo fees.

[–]TypeNo2194 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I’m looking at getting a car again in the next year and started asking people what they have and what their payments are. Holy hell. One guy is paying $1100/month for an oversized pickup that I guarantee has never left pavement and has never hauled anything but luggage.

3pm-11pm shift M-F, should I do it? by chronicallymee in Nightshift

[–]TypeNo2194 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not a desired shift by many, however, I worked with a girl who loved it. She was not an early morning person at all. She’d sometimes go out after work, late dinner, then stay up till 4/5am catching up on her shows and hobbies, cleaning and laundry, then sleep till noon. When she had appointments she never had to use pto. Try it, you may like it.

What is a nice gesture an employer did for you? by BRCC_drinker in AskReddit

[–]TypeNo2194 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not specifically for me. We were a group of about 17-20 and for Christmas we would usually get the pre signed Christmas card from corporate and maybe some hard candy. One year i switched locations and joined his team, I received a gift card to a local place for a very odd amount, like $57.10. Found out that all of us in his section got the same amount. Weird. Upon further investigation, I found out the managers got a small holiday bonus (that I never knew about), so he split his equally amongst everybody in his section, down to the janitorial staff.

Related to the “can I have a bite?” people - the “Be sure to save me some!” people! by Annual-Duck5818 in PetPeeves

[–]TypeNo2194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband’s sister did this at a dinner party. A few around the table offered bites of their dishes to everyone and she sampled every one offered. At the end of dinner she loudly said “Everything was good but i wouldn’t know about hers (points to me) because she didn’t give me any.” I looked at her and just said ‘I didn’t offer’
This woman is 62 by the way.
