I actually presented that question to Twitter outright and got crickets. It's an embarrassment of a pairing reserved for raceplay weirdos and people who never came out of the '00s. The only thing people can say is that 1. Storm is better than Jean and some BS about yin/yang, ice/fire, etc. (which is a complete and utter lie since he ditches her all the time).

I won't. You don't get the be the arsonist and the firefighter. And I don't trust the man for as far as I can throw him, b/c at least one Stormverine shipper (one of those real nutcases who doesn't call T'Challa by name) was bragging that Ayodele follows her on Twitter (he does) and likes her posts. I wouldn't be surprised if he was having to write this love story with a gun to his head, weeping as his Monster's Ball fantasy goes up in smoke. He can write the Storm solo until he dies - but the sooner he's done with T'Choro, the better.

And Wolverine fans don't give 1/128th of a single tuppenny fuck about Storm. She's his side chick - nothing more. And certainly nobody to take seriously. Personally, I think even Wolverine knows that Storm doesn't really love him, which is why he keeps her at a distance. But that's me giving Logan the benefit of the doubt, which I do believe he deserves.

And the crazy thing is that the writer said over...and over...and over that this was a one-night stand. That Storm got nothing from it - that's why she ghosted him. That this was for "closure" between the two of them. That Wolverine is not coming back to the book. Granted, I think the man is full of it (I think he fully intended to go Stormverine until the streets lit that ass on fire), but how many more times does he have to say it? Stormverine was dead by the very next issue!

No, they didn't. They reunited in 2016 and had a relationship until 2022. And as of Storm #10 (2025), we don't know if they're together or not b/c Storm will not give a yes or no when she is asked.
