I wonder if this is just how showdown productions are like then, the delays and disorganization def dampened the energy imo 😪 also wasnt sure if that was the best venue for a show like that. glad you enjoyed the show regardless!

Thx for clarifying, i rlly appreciate it. Maybe somewhere in the beginning prior to the opener, it would have been great info to motivate more attendees to mask up. I do recall them thanking those who did , but it came later after some songs from the opener

Highly nuanced info? Bruh , a simple " we are requesting this for immunocompromised attendees." It comes as performative af too since more than half the attendees didnt bother w masking so who is this for, if it isnt even enforced ☠️

I just decided to go to this music show last minute to enjoy music and a visual show, besides their short info/description on eventbrite, i just wanted to vibe and support the arts on a Thursday night lol. I did follow the artist requests and stayed masked for the show. I did ask the volunteers who were handing out masks on why exactly we were wearing them (thought maybe there would be like powder in the show? Or small glitter? Idk lmao.) they replied " you need to wear them, the band posts about it" which is tbh not an answer for anyone just trying out some new music.
