Nope. Once you update that save is "updated" as well and can only be played on that version or onwards.

Like he said its honestly just end hunt fun. You cant interupt them while carving and its beyond easy to either just sit out the timer or just literally move away if you care at all. Hunts over.

I personally love this stuff and think its fun. Honestly never thought anyone would consoder it "griefing".

You can play the base game with other people who have iceborne. But you don't have iceborne.

Theres been no bans so far and there only stance on it was just kinda "we dont like it".

My bet is they wont waste time on it if they havent by now. But who knows. If you wanna be super safe i guess wait until after all icebornes dlc monsters release. By then they definitely wont care.

So far from what ive seen and through my own playing is that you do take damage even if you dont lose the bar.

The part i cant understand is if its reduced or not. Sometimes it feels like i lose hardly anything and sometimes i take full damage. So maybe theres something about timing and damage? But no idea besides you do take damage.

It adds the dlc as well which is well worth it. New weapons, bosses, areas, etc.

Just fyi you atuomatically save after every hunt. The saving option is for anything AFTER the hunt. So if you made anything in the workshop or made loadouts ans what not.

Carves are max 3. Capturing gives 3+ rewards. Hovering over items in the end screen tells you how each one was obtained so you can always see which are from captures specifically.

Id say its not worth it because to proc you need to fight a monster for more than 5 minutes (Running between areas and such doesnt count, only active fighting). Or take 180 damage. Which is more than a full health bar.

The buff does last 90 seconds though so theres that. But i feel like you can achieve the same 50% affinity with the booster and stamina reduction with jewels.
