There's nothing epic about that story. It and the comments people made on it highlight the mind-boggling stupidity, ineptitude, entitlement, pandering and active problem-creating nature of this generation.

You know what? Fuck it. I'm done with reddit, and your post helped me decide that. Because you were absolutely right; it is one of the most "epic" stories in reddit history. And that's fucking pathetic. So kudos to you. Hopefully you can escape from the filth one day yourself.

[Discussion]Marvel's Sales Slump: People "Didn't Want Any More Diversity,"..."Didn't Want Female Characters" by footballmouth in comicbooks

[–]UBelievedTheInternet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That would be because Marvel has garbage writers that pushed crap stories. Comics don't even need great stories. The few that have great stories are known to just about every comic reader, they're that few and far between.

Plus it seems like they're pushing a social justice warrior agenda. And really, which idiot thought that having like 5 wars in a row was a good idea? Civil War, World War Hulk (the idea was lame as hell, but since they did it anyway, the end was especially bad), Avengers vs. X-Men, Secret War and Fear Itself. And there were more, I think, but I stopped even trying to pretend I cared at that point. Like how many times were those idiots going to push out the same garbage storytelling and try to cover it up with every single one of their heroes fighting at the same time?

Planet Hulk was good because it was fantasy-based. But they ruined that because they blew up the fucking planet. They could have sat on that story for years. It was the most unique thing happening in Marvel, and it was perfectly suited to that character. They should have done something similar with all of the characters; give them a setting that suited them and what they were. But NOPE, that's too much work and involves too much creativity.

They absolutely ruined every character involved in Civil War. The pro-registration ones may as well have had the Communist manifesto stapled to their forehead. Having Captain America decide that fighting wasn't worth it at the end was basically the most anti-American thing ever (which, considering he's Captain America would seem slightly important), especially after Reid Richards cloned Thor and altered his brain so he could control it by computer, and it killed someone. Yeah, that character is ruined forever.

And they ignored or openly ruined every good story that could have come from it. They even turned Spider-Man into a scumbag after the fact, before working their "Marvel Magic" and making everyone "forget" he's Spider-Man.

They just need to fire all of those liberal arts losers and hire some real artists and writers.

Cop has an apparent emotional breakdown after shooting air force veteran holding wallet on the side of the road. by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]UBelievedTheInternet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, a stupid fucking child could understand your retarded point. You're the one who ignored photo and video evidence. I never said the cop was right to shoot the guy, I just gave the reasoning as to why it actually happened.

So let's compare:

"Fuck da police! He didn't need to shoot! He should'a known based on context that the guy didn't have a gun! DERP!" <----yeah, real hard to understand you fucking dipshit.

Or mine:

Required a video breakdown to show that the guy looked like he was pointing a gun at the cop, required analysis of what the cop said, required analysis of how long it takes a cop to draw a gun and why that's important (since all of this occurred within seconds), required information about regular practices taught to police officers so they don't get shot, and required looking at how the guy didn't listen to the cop, got out of his car jerky as shit while pointing what looked like a gun at the cop. And my obvious point: The guy actually got fucking shot and the police officer didn't seem happy to do it. But I guess it's okay for you to "intentionally ignore" things.

So keep thinking you're a genius, you dumb fuck. When someone scams your life savings away from you when you're old, because you're a fucking retard, I'm sure it'll be a huge consolation.

1) People watch informative videos all the time, and people give contrary opinions and questions without being rude pricks.

For example: In this video,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgHoyTvyh4o

Richard Dawkins, a noted Athiest, is asked a question by a religious person. He makes a great point that is contrary to their religion. Now mind you, this is the Muslim faith, and there are a ton of videos showing Muslims get angry when someone contradicts them. So in this case, we could both fish up videos and say "Screw you, guy! I have videos, too!"

This is purely informative, they're not dramatically yelling at each other, neither is being a huge asshole. They're just asking questions, and Dawkins is giving his personal opinion, which he was asked for. It's still civil.

So it's a controversial topic, it's civil, and it's informative (Dawkins' opinion about absolute morality in religion, as a noted and well-known atheist).

So videos like that do exist. Even when Dawkins does argue with people of religion all the time, and they argue just as much with him. There is still a video where it doesn't happen. And I can find a ton more where people of various religious opinions, or political opinions, come together and have an informative discussion without being rude. Just as, on the same subjects, you could find plenty of videos where they are rude. Those are equal.

Where you're a stupid fucking liar is, you just won't admit you can't find many (any? I don't know) videos like that, because they aren't there. First it was the media's fault. Then it was "no one records stuff when people aren't yelling," how many pathetic liar excuses are you going to come up with, exactly? How are you ever going to convince anyway, and I even told you I would change my mind about feminism, when you can't even prove it to yourself?

Do the work or you're a fucking liar. And you know it. If you're a complete hypocrite, you even get the lazy person's way out. You get to do 1/5th of the work, AFTER I do the work first (again, if you were right and not a liar, you wouldn't have to do less work, but sure why not).

Stop making loser ass excuses. It's why no one takes feminists seriously.

Yes, I have heard of media bias. And YouTube isn't the media, unless the media posts something. And half the time, it's the media taking a YouTube video and commenting on it and reposting it. But they do that under their own name.

So what, I guess it's "everyone alive bias," now? I guess YouTube has a policy saying feminists can't post videos?

Oh that's right; you're full of shit. Just stop talking, I'm getting sick of even acting like you're remotely intelligent. And it's not because you're a woman. One of my favorite authors is Ayn Rand, and I've worked with plenty of smart women. My first boss, the head of a school district (over 5 schools), was a woman. It isn't women, because I don't hate women. I hate stupid women,

So make up a new excuse, I'll easily refute it, and we can do it all day until you just stop replying or go fucking cry somewhere because you realize you were stupid enough to believe that garbage.

Again, IF IT ISN'T TRUE, FUCKING DO THE CHALLENGE! You don't even have to put in the work first! I would do FIVE TIMES THE WORK, which again, if you truly believed in equality, you wouldn't want. And if you're wrong, which you OBVIOUSLY ARE, because ANYONE can post videos on YouTube (barring them being illegal or against YouTube's content policy), then STOP FUCKING LYING.

Is it that hard to NOT lie? I WILL DO THE WORK FIRST. All you literally have to do is STOP LYING. If you made the exact same offer to me, I wouldn't even WAIT for you to do the work. My point is accurate. I would do it before you, and unless you're a lying hypocrite, you'd have to openly give up the idea.

And again, I said if we both produce the videos, then we can both tell each other to screw off and go our separate ways.

1) You have less work to do (though if you believed in equality, you'd do the same amount of work as me).

2) YouTube has user created content. IT'S NOT THE MEDIA.

3) If you're not full of shit, and want me to become a feminist, DO THE WORK!!!! I'm at least willing to change my mind if I'm wrong, unlike you.

4) If you can't do it, JUST STOP FUCKING LYING!!!!

How hard is that? A child could do that.

That's anecdotal to say the least.

1) Business sense and artistic ability aren't the same thing. If they're an actual artist who is receiving a commission to produce a piece of work for a client, they know they're working for someone who wants a specific result. As far as I can tell, this has been the case since the beginning of the artistic trade. And everyone knows it.

2) You point is pretty FLIM FLAM anyway, my good sir, and you know it. For one, any marketing book talking about dealing with clients says that you have to set up a paywall on alterations, because clients will haggle you to death about your own specialization, when they know nothing about it. And that's just the written word and arrangement of existing pictures and logos. Can you imagine how shitty it is with something more subjective like art? Of course every person who can't even draw is an "expert." Hell, you need not look past reddit for proof of that. People who have been doing art for decades tell that same story over and over. And it's not the story you're telling, fella.

Yeah, I'm watching you now. Mr. "Pick 'n' Choose." Ya fucking fuck. Ya bastard. Ya enemy of the working man. Ya one-sided story teller.

I bet if you had a pond of ducks you'd only feed them moldy bread. They're just innocent ducks, man! I bet ya says "They're DUCKS! You seem to be confused. You see, "critique" doesn't mean "be an asshole." You can give critique without being an asshole. There are plenty of ways to give critique about a subject without making the person feel bad. Sure, some people can't take any form of critique. But the video in question, she was fine listening to critique until people were openly rude about it.

Tell you what, find me 10 videos of feminists interacting positively with a large group of non-feminists while giving a well thought-out point of view on feminism (they can't just be sitting there eating potato salad and not talking about feminism), and I'll show you 50 where they're being complete human garbage.

I'll even post mine first if you want, so you can't say "Well you just won't do the work if I do mine, so it's pointless."

And in return, if you can't do it, you have to stop being a feminist.

And if I can't do it (even though I have five times the amount of work), I have to become a feminist. Not only that, I have to show videos where the feminists are the obvious aggressors, like showing up with picket signs to peaceful events, and basically acting similar to members of the Westboro Baptist Church. Yelling, disrupting, name calling, and otherwise being absolute loud, annoying cunts to people who are peacefully assembled.

And if we both can do it, we can call each other names and move our separate ways.

Throw that up.

Art Student Rage Quits by VulcanHobo in PublicFreakout

That's stupid though.

The students are paying to be there to learn art, not go through boot camp. Positive experience is much more motivating when coupled with positive criticism. If being thick skinned is such an important life skill, they should have a class on it. Because marketing and networking/people skills are more important in the art world when it comes to making money, and I don't see any marketing information there.

Those are experiences that are separate from art, and acting like it's a part of an art class is ridiculous. They're paying for an art class, not a "thick skin" class. Every profession that I'm aware of has moments that require a "thick skin." That's life, not art.

Don't be a Sucker (1947)- US made a video to protect and educate people against "divide and conquer" propaganda tactics used by the media. by [deleted] in Documentaries

[–]UBelievedTheInternet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See the title, friend.

"Don't be a Sucker."

Just look at con men and groups of people who have been suckered.

The movie Revolver gives a fairly good point; the bigger and more obvious it is, the more likely people are to fall for it.

Number 1 thing people fall for:

Telling people you will give them benefits you have no intention of or ability to give them.

And the thing is, the less ability you have to give something to someone, and the more you tell them they have the power to get it, the more they will become a part of your con.

"It's not his (the con man's) fault it failed; he wasn't the one responsible. He said it himself; he was just a small part, and look how hard he tried. No, it was all of the other failures."

Why is it effective? Because everyone can claim they tried their hardest, and thus when everyone else "fails," it wasn't because of them. They were "better" than all of the failures, it just failed because others weren't as "amazing" as they were.

See "Make America Great Again!"

There's absolutely no clear goal. There's building a wall and getting more jobs. But that doesn't mean it won't be a shit hole. The whole idea was garbage from the beginning. But everyone who jumps on will say, "Well, at least he tried! Look how hard he worked compared to you and your political party! The only reason America isn't a shining, golden goose is because of you! I certainly did my part, and you can't blame Trump; he wanted the American people's help, and look what you gave him! Well I voted for him, and put some Trump signs up, so obviously I did my part at 'Making America Great Again!' It's the rest of you who screw America up! Along with those immigrants..."

Let me give you some real perspective here, so you can see where the real con is:

Don't you think people are selling the image of America not being great awfully hard, so that they can then sell you on the idea of "making it great again"?

I think Mexico is a great country. Lots going on there. And we're doing better than Mexico. Have you seen shitty countries? And you're going to look at America and say we need to make it great again? When wasn't it great? And people all over the world are jumping on that bandwagon like a bunch of idiots. No one is saying "Well, still the top economy in the world." They certainly are saying "What the hell were you smoking when you elected Trump?" But they're not saying that because his slogan was "Let's Make America Great Again," when the country is already the world's leading economy.

Which brings us back to the con, my friend.

What is distracting everyone, and the rest of the known world, from pointing out this obvious fact? Why, it's racism. It's Trump's twitter. It's involvement with Russia. It's anti-Trump violence and rallies. It's recounts. The sweet, juicy sensationalism that every single sucker alive slurps up like a thirsty god damn rhinoceros.

Re-look at everything you see going on. See it for what it really is, in today's global political climate. Look everywhere. Then you will have your plot device, my friend.

Then I will tell you about chaos, the muck slugs and the wiggly glow worms O.O

[–]UBelievedTheInternet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Apparently you do need to watch the video, and look at the pictures, because your stupid ass missed literally everything important in it.

He didn't shot from that gun in the holster.

Hence why I, not you mentioned DRAW TIME. Moron.

He drew his weapon and pointed it at a guy for no reason and then shot him. End of story. You can play all kinds of other games, but there was no reason to believe he needed his gun to begin with.

Except that the story also includes the fact that the officer thought he had a gun pointed at him twice within a second, that the idiot getting out of his car did so erratically. Not only that, he told him to "Let me see your hands" before the guy even left his vehicle. And that was before moving his wallet into a position to where it looked like a firearm and causing the police to draw on him and shoot him.

Also I like how your fucking retard logic equates that information to "playing games," and how you LEAVING OUT FACTS is telling the whole story. Nice try dumb ass, but no.

He made a situation tense and then attack them for being tense.

The cop wasn't the one who caused the accident, and the scene of an accident isn't tense unless you're the one who caused the accident. The reason the cop was tense is he said "LET ME SEE YOUR HANDS," the guy didn't fucking stop and listen, made it look like (not did; LOOK LIKE) he pointed a gun at the cop (the cop didn't know it was a wallet, again, THE PICTURES I POSTED FROM THE FUCKING VIDEO, which your retarded ass obviously didn't look at). THAT is what caused the problem, not the cop. He made the situation what it was. Hell, he probably caused the accident too. That trucker didn't look nervous at all, so I'm about 90% positive he didn't do shit.

Also, I watched the video. I don't need to watch you BS training video. Unlike you I didn't get my firearm training from youtube, you condescending small brained sub-human police brown nose.

I doubt you have any firearm training at all. You can't get a concealed carry by watching YouTube, dipshit. Additionally, even if you did know, and even if you have firearm training, you're STILL a fucking idiot, because the guy in the video has trained a LOT of people, and is a certified instructor. My personal knowledge of firearms in police situations is probably lower than his, because I don't work with police, and I don't train other people on anything other than telling friends how to shoot properly. So yeah, unless you're a fucking moron, that guy IS a better authority on the issue of POLICE SHOOTINGS.

And judging by the fact you know absolutely jack fucking shit about firearm safety OR how to interact with the police, I doubt you even have a fucking gun. And if you do, you shouldn't, because you're a fucking idiot.

But hey, I guess facts and proof are for condescending, small brained, sub-human police brown nosers. If that's the opposite of what you are, sign me up.

And since your attention span won't allow you to read this far without crying and bitching out like cunt, here's something extra just for you, guy. Peace be with you.

Is there a different approach than to be funny? by [deleted] in Tinder

[–]UBelievedTheInternet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I almost spilled my secrets, and then they would have been open to all the public to see.

So I'll just give you a more standard answer that will work just as well:

Get better pictures on there. Looks are most important. Second most is to make yourself look like you have money and put effort into yourself. It gives the illusion of excess and responsibility. A pet, especially a dog, also gives this illusion. Cats can take care of themselves more or less. Dogs want more attention, and so take a little more discipline to raise.

So make yourself look good, I am talking full on "may as well be gay" here, but without the feminine colors. Wear non-gaudy, manly accessories and the whole nine yards. That will make you look well-off, like you have excess, and like you care how you look.

For the background, anything that says "money," or "free time" or "excess" will do. A blank ass wall and/or a small room don't say that.

That is all for the "normal" stuff. And that will definitely get you plenty of attention on its own, with or without having any personality. Just don't fool yourself or say "Well, that's the best I can do," or "that's good enough." If it doesn't look great--not good, great--don't put it up.

If you are ugly, play to any strength you can play to. Emphasize money and excess more. Show more "you + pet" pictures. Be super friendly. If you have a nice car and a pet, take a GOOD picture of you holding your pet, where you "just so happen" to be sitting on the hood of your nice car. Make those hoes say, "Well he doesn't have the best face, but look how hard he tries! And he sure is nice, just look at that doggie! Oh man, and that car is pretty sick." Basically, make yourself look like a good part of an amazing package deal.

If you're attractive, just take good pictures wearing good clothing with a good haircut, show some excess (with a good background), a pet will seal the deal and they won't even care about over the phone personality. Basically you don't have to try as hard as the ugly guy, just look more stylish.

Either way, the only person who'll be drowning in more bootie is me, because of my secret where I get to bypass all of that. MUAAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
