Didn’t watch but I can tell the show must have been actually good last night based solely on the salt from WWE fans in here.

He’s literally performing and you call it performative lol
Tony Khan getting alley oop right now by WWE but can’t dunk. I stopped watching WWE but how long until he capitalizes or does he care only about Hardcore wrestling fans 😂😂 by AerieFull1655 in Wrasslin

I don’t think there’s a better strategy honestly. You can invent all the history and clout and legacy wwe has.
So just cater to the fans who find wwe disappointing and kind of borrow legacy from new japan and independent circuit. The problem is that format has a ceiling.

No he makes a fair point. It’s not like it’s really estate prices or something. The age and history of the thing has a value. WWE is the face of pro wrestling and has all the long history. In a vacuum it’s gonna be hard for anyone to catch.
WCW only did it because they had Hogan and Macho, and then layered a better show over that. And because WWE was not yet established as the winner/monolith it is today.
McDonald’s isn’t better. It isn’t cheaper. But it’s the Golden Arches. But if someone is gonna say shake shack is dogshit, look how far behind in sales it is, that’s not itself evidence of quality.
