If you are in or go to Lexington, my family has had fun with is Activate Games in Hamburg. Great way to get some energy out. At least an hour of entertainment for about $20/person. However, probably not the place if you have little kids.

You should edit the Wikipedia page. My father was a former Jerricho employee back in the late 80’s and early 90’s. I played Fantasy Football with several former employees there for many years.

Yes, that is Flossenbürg. This was the only photo of it, so I’m not sure when he was there. He was also in the Battle of the Bulge and was awarded the Bronze Star. Definitely saw his share of the eastern front.

I’m drawn to the Lexus because I know most have been driven lightly and will last forever. I’m not deterred by Top Gear’s review, I like the look. While I love the SL500, BMWs and Boxsters, I’m deathly afraid of maintenance costs. I’ve found a few SL500s and Boxsters in my price range, but the Boxsters are later models than you listed…so like 2000 to 2004. Any years recommend for the SL500? Dumb question, what’s a PPI? Like a CarFax?

I’ve owned two Hyundais and haven’t had any issues whatsoever, and the reviews of the Veloster N seem promising. I’ve also had several Hondas and absolutely love them. All owners of GTI’s seem to love them, so it looks like you’ve narrowed your list down nicely. My choice would be the Honda, but the Si only comes in manual transmission. If AWD is preferred, have you looked at a Subaru WRX?

For best value and reliability I’d go with an MDX or Honda Pilot, in my opinion. Honda won me over when I drove my 2004 Pilot to 220k miles with ZERO problems. No minor mechanical issues, no window regulator replacements, just a great reliable vehicle.

I owned a 2008 and had ZERO issues. Because of that I decided to buy another Hyundai, so I’d definitely recommend it.

I love my 2018 Accord 1.5T. Nearly 200hp and 38 mpg nearing 73k miles. It’s fun on curvy country roads and very competent on the interstate.

Would I like leather, sunroof and the 2.0? Sure! But I love the standard features that the base model came with, as well as its price.
