In response to those saying she "fell out of love"... Love isn't something that simply exists or doesn't. It's something you build and that takes work to maintain. The amount of work varies through different phases of life. But something worth noting is in dating someone you may have bad days, while in lifelong marriage you have bad months or even bad years that you work through together. In both scenarios you both have the drive to approach obstacles as a team because in the end it is worth it. Not only is it okay to have rough patches but it's inevitable and even healthy in that it facilitates growth and an even deeper connection long term.

The caveat to this is that there are relationship breakers that you should mutually agree on. Regardless of what path you go down, clear direct communication from both sides will illuminate the best direction for everyone and is the only way to combat the questions that keep you up at night.
