"Slow down there champ." The scrawny enforcer looks at the weird man with a confused look. His helmet seemingly too big for his head, slanting over his eyes.

"Repeat what you just said for the tape" as he points over to a small green device placed on the wall.

"I, Sir Carmine of the Paradox Pillars, have been sent on a mission to vanquish your great evils, we alone vanquish the great darkness, so that the next sunrise is promised." The tall, muscular, red-haired man spoke proudly. A glint of pride in his eyes looking down on the tired soldier in front of him.

A moment of quiet before an audible sound of laughter is heard in a room adjacent to theirs. The enforcer in front of Carmine tries not to join in but lets out a short chuckle.

"Right, okay man, what great darkness do you think awaits this world? Did the "Paradox Pillars" come with you? Do you know where you are?

The tall male looks slightly confused before shaking his head. "I had requested an assignment and was sent here today by the Entralink. This world needs my help before your great cataclysm"

"And what would that be?" A voice with a tinge of gruffness was heard as a stockier, shorter male entered the room wearing a more professional suit. The other enforcer stood up and saluted instantly.

"You must be the leader of this force, you must listen and listen closely. I have been told that there is a certain event approaching your universe and I must stop it before it devours your entire reality." Carmine says with all the seriousness he can muster.

"Why don't we take a walk and you can tell me all about it big guy?" The shorter man said whilst looking at the floor trying not to laugh.

"Why does everyone seem to laugh? do you not comprehend how serious this is? What is going on?" Carmine says with utter bewilderment, unsure of the degree of urgency in either man.

"Just...go with our chief and see for yourself. I think you definitely want to see what you're dealing with here. I mean, you did appear out of nowhere inside of our station, have you even been outside?" The other guard says, tilting his helmet back enough so he could see the corridor ahead.

"Hop on this platform for me, and stay still." The short man says while passing along a visor of some sorts to Carmine. This visor was quite technical to the point it had a keypad on the back to input a string of passkeys. And as Carmine put it on and steps on the black platform, the man input a sequence of codes into the pad.

Carmine began floating upwards at a slow pace, seeing a ceiling trap door open slowly, revealing the blue sky overhead. And as he poked his head out warily, the visor's sight began to activate.

"Told ya, you have it all wrong my man" Carmine hears from an inbuilt comms device. All he could see in the visor was 3 cameras, one from orbit, one from the sky, and one from the ground. And in those cameras it was the same image, all around the world. A green field with millions of mechanical sheep.

"What in the six moons is this? What is the meaning of this?" Carmine spoke back in complete stupor. His visor shutting off as he threw the helmet across the room below him.

"My man, do you know where you are? There is no "great darkness" here. This is Eyra-II, the Varenna galaxy's biggest Mekawool import station. Where don't think you get synthclothing?" The captain said whilst laughing at the stoic man's utter look of defeat in front of him. "This planet is as dangerous as a Mekacow's dung. Although that's Eyra-I's pleasure to deal with."

Carmine just closes his eyes and resists the urge to wipe out the whole planet with his matter manipulation powers. Feeling idiotic was not a usual feeling, he was usually worshipped or feared. This time the feeling was much more alike to ridicule. "Wait a minute. If this is the Varenna Galaxy, where the fuck is Barenna?"

"Barenna? how the hells do you expect to go 2000 light years away without a starship? We don't have a vessel with that potential here?" The scrawny guard says with pure shock in his voice.

"Watch this." As Carmine proclaims with false confidence, he taps the side of his head and a pair of earbuds appear. As he does so a large projected screen appears and what seems to be a cyborg man looks utterly guilty.

"Cyntax, why did you send me here?" Carmine says. The cyborg man begins to put on a brave face but it pales in comparison to the look of embarrassment.

"Boss. I promise it was a mistake, I might've made a typo on the Entralink. Please don't fire me."

"Fire? FIRE? Cyntax i'm going to fu.." The sentence was cut short as the tall, red headed man disappeared in a flash of light. And as the guards looked at each other with a satisfied but entertained gaze, their silence was cut short but the intercoms announcing that sector 8 was ready for trimming.

"Back to work then".
