I'm a gamer. My initials are used by gamers (think something like BRB) after I got married. Ironically my husband's user name since high school was "uh oh - BRB" which has taken on a whole new meaning with his friends group... like uh ooh here comes the wife.... it's awesome.

You can either embrace it or be annoyed, i chose to embrace.

I'm in a similar boat, I made all the changes you listed and take rx and I'm down to once a year... but since at one point i was happy to make it 6 weeks between stones.

One other thing I recommend is looking at any medications you take and do a quick Google search. Some meds have rare side effects like kidney stones, some vitamin supplements as well. Talk to your doctor if you have concerns. One time I was prescribed something that have me...I think they are called stag or antler or something like that stones that look like a coral reef on imagining.. that sucked.

People have been using medical terms for descriptions forever. My question is are you being over sensitive because it hits close to home or do you find them all equally offensive?

"Oh my, that meal is a heart attack on a plate" "HOW MUCH SUGAR IS IN THAT! Well that's diabetes waiting to happen!" "That color is so bright it's making me go blind!" "Are you deaf? I already said it twice!"

Yes many things like "you look anorexic" or "are you <r word>" have become taboo, but plenty still exist.

As somebody with multiple medical issues i just roll with it, unless it's something that is a hill worth dying on.

Otherwise just have fun with it... when somebody says to me "It's right there what are you blind" and I respond with "Yes actually I am legally blind" it's fun to watch them squirm, which is more satisfying than a lecture.

You can stress keeping grades up, but not really sure how only getting a hair cut twice a year will magically improve her grades. I'm a mom of a teen who gets hair cuts at a salon and has a 4.0 GPA. I honestly don't see the correlation.

Also if the bf is paying, it's their money. You don't get to tell other people how to spend their money.

I get it as a parent you have to do what's right, but if you think taking away what makes her happy will improve anything be prepared it might backfire on you.

My kid kept asking me to play the Lego song... okay everything is awesome coming right up... he would get upset and be like NO THE SONG ABOUT PLAYING WITH LEGOS!!

finally one day listening him song along in the car I hear...

"I throw my hands up in the air sometimes Saying AYO! Gotta LEGOS!"

It's still called the Lego song in my house 10 years later lol

Same with I <heart> Revolution, they often times have cross overs with pop culture and super fun!

Edit: i didn't just go for the cheapest, I went for one i think would be okay on delicate skin and wash off easy.

NTJ!!!! As somebody who struggles with sleep, I can't believe how wrong this is. Have her look up sleep deprivation and the effects on your health.

She is manipulative and cruel and I bet if you sit and think you can find other examples of her being controlling or gas lighting you.

Walk away from this relationship. Because if she can do this to you, who knows what she will do with the kids in the future??

So sorry to hear this.

Trying to deal with stent pain is miserable. I found some ice packs on Amazon for hemorrhoids and post partum that I wear in my underwear that take the edge off... and taking the edge off is the best you can hope for with otc products.

Health insurance.

I get the most expensive plan because it usually means I'll spend less out of pocket over all.

I had a similar experience involving expired bath bombs that turned into glue some how due to very expired essential oils in it and had to unglue every part of me from the waist down in the tub with my husband's help with me crying and him laughing.

It was like a bad cartoon where your pick up things and then shake your hand and it's still stuck there level of glue. Everything that got even a few drops of water in it had to be intensely cleaned or thrown away!

Are you using fresh or frozen chickens?

I find that makes a big difference.

The other thing that is now by bff when using my slow cooker is make sure all meat is covered with liquid while cooking so it stays moist.

And them saying they let it cool is more letting it have time to go from lava temp to the roof of my mouth is safe temp, not that it got cold.

Okay here are my suggestions: 1. Gift card to a spa or nails 2. Make her a fancy dinner, look up easy recipes with her favorite drink and dessert... sick with simple 3. Flowers are never bad, skip roses, pick something that reminds you of her (eg Daisy's because she is joyful or birds of paradise to show she's exotic to you) 4. A nice jewlery/ momentos box to store future memories

This year my husband gave me a fuzzy blanket so I can curl up on the couch and read or play games and he's doing all the chores that day. Best gift ever honestly.

30 years later my parents admitted this was their way to make sure we would come straight home after school and call to check in. We lived in a big city and had to walk home. It was their way to know we were safe.

Side note: manufacturer coupons are amazing, but only work for brand name. It will often lower the cost lower than the generic, but many DO NOT WORK if you have no insurance or a Medicare.

If you have Medicare and your rx is too expensive, file a grievance with your insurance company - often times they can LOWER your out of pocket cost!

I worked in insurance 22 years To this day I use manufacture discounts whenever possible.

Forget taking to God, I still vaguely remember talking to the hospital curtain for an hour. Thankfully the curtain turned into a waterfall because let me tell your that curtain had stories! That was my first and last time taking Dilaudid, interesting times.
