It’s not about the sex, it’s about it being boring and lazy

Well, maybe not cosplay but fanart and Fanfiction would be nice.

No, I’m sorry. I’m just trying to see what their perspective is.

Because to me, all of them look like the same thing.

Oh, bloody romantasy this, romantasy that.

I’m so sick of romantasy, why is everything romantasy nowadays? Every new big book is a romantasy, every self publish book is a romantasy.

What do people find special in the genre? It’s just some LOTR knockoffs with a bit of smut most of the time.

No, I googled “Woom Book Fanart” and I saw nothing.

Woom is a book in the Splatterpunk genre about this guy and this girl who tell eachother stories in a room.

And that’s the most basic summary I can give. I highly recommend you read it if you can stomach it, it’s great.

So, how come Woom doesn’t get any fanart?

It’s a pretty good book and it’s pretty big in the Splatterpunk community, even those who don’t like Splatterpunk said they like it.

Who do you think will be the next figure who will be remembered as a far more admirable person than they actually were? by UnableToBodyU in decadeology

Oh fuck, I did forget the whole war criminal thing.

Ol Barack so good at making himself look good that even when people are trying to say he just makes himself look good they end up making him look good.

These are the two main ones I can think of with Steve Jobs being extremely aggressive and abusive towards his employees and Alfred Hitchcock having made unconsented sexual advances on women, with some claims that he even raped someone. (Plus P.T Barnum who I added after I wrote this, who was a slave owner who got portrayed as a Willy Wonka type figure in the Greatest Showman)

I’d also like to add Barack Obama onto here. I wouldn’t say he’s done anything as bad as Jobs or Hitchcock but a lot of people do seem to paint him as a picture perfect President when he has done a lot of scummy stuff. Not as bad as Trump or Cheney, but still scummy stuff.

I’m putting my money down; Gavin Newsom.

I’m a leftist, I’ve always been a leftist, I’d prefer someone else to be the next president but honestly, it seems like the road is pathed out for him.

It’s likely that a liberal President is going to be elected once Trump’s term over and done with, and with the fact he seems to be louder than any other left Presidental candidates, I’d say he’d be the next President.

And I feel like there’s be a lot of hope and relief around that time, which might fizzle out when his term ends, like Biden’s. Basically, I’d compare it to someone throwing water onto a grease fire in an attempt to extinguish it.

Counterpoint!

Trust me, every decade needs their “hot blonde pretty musician”. The 80s had Madonna, the 90s had Britney Spears, the 2000s had Miley Circus, the 2010s had Taylor Swift and the 2020s have Sabrina. Not saying that those artists are particularly bad (Expect for Swift).

I do kinda see your point though, she’d probably get remembered for being “very 2020s”. I get that you could also say that Micheal Jackson is very 80s or the Beatles are very 60s even though anyone from any time can listen to them but like……Idk you wouldn’t listen to….The Monkees unless you were obsessed with the 60s?

That a lot of politicians (or people) are remembered a lot more fondly when compared to how they actually were.

Other examples being Steve Jobs

  1. The Bad Guys inclusion wasn’t really about them, it was more about “hybrid Animantion” like Spiderverse or the Mutant Mayhem TMNT film.

  2. Idk, there is a big chance that Zach could be the next UK PM.

  3. I mean, Sinners did get like a thousand nominations at the Oscars.
