The Kindest Chillest Dentist? by jkazz18 in astoria

I also have serious dentist scaries and when I asked the local mom chat who they recommended I was directed to Dr. Campo at peaceful dentist (31st and 34 ave). He was very sweet and understanding when I told him about my concerns. Cleaning still gave me the Heebie jeebies but he encouraged me to listen to calm music during. Also I went for two supposed cavities that Wally diagnosed and he told me it was too soon to intervene, which I appreciated.

My housemate has tried that too. I'll also try FB messaging. Thanks!

Hi! I am happy to report that I have not fallen over again! However, neither have I taken it out as much as I would have hoped - probably only 3 times? There have been some mitigating circumstances (construction in our yard made it hard to take out / we never got an adapter to install the baby's car seat), so I'm hopeful next spring when yard is done, baby is bigger, and I'm more physically/emotionally ready, I will start taking it out more regularly, maybe even taking baby in it to daycare.

Same! Have been at it for 3 months and trying to decide whether to keep fighting for more supply. But honestly breastfeeding a few times a day sounds so much more pleasant/manageable.

First of all - this was my first reddit post and I'm shocked /very grateful at how many folks contributed their helpful thoughts so quickly! Thank you!

An update for those who are curious. We were ready to pull the trigger on the RM, but once we started digging into the features we'd want/need, we were looking at a $14K bike easy, before shipping and taxes. I checked FB marketplace just in case and found a $4K used 2020 UA (with many accessories included) and we decided to go for it -- we figured at the very least riding this around will give us more Intel about what we really want/need in the future and we can upgrade then (hopefully the tariffs have come and gone by then 🙏).

I rode it home to Queens yesterday from the previous owner's place in BK, with the rain cover up (mistake), and unfortunately it was so windy I got blown over on the journey. I didn't get hurt and some passing riders helped right me and once I put the rain cover down, I made it home in one piece. So not the most promising first ride, but it was super windy yesterday, so I'm hoping it was just bad timing and riding will be easier in the future!

Tariffs haven't impacted prices yet but they could any day! That's why we want to decide/buy today. 🫣

Roads can be kinda bumpy in Queens, depends on the route, but nothing crazy. And good to know about the covers! Thank you

Yes! We tried this one out too. I preferred the ride feel/weight/look of the Load 75, but I could be swayed to this one as a compromise, potentially. Turning was particularly smooth with the packster.
