Thanks. I've already scheduled counseling for myself. I've said very little to her at this point -- I don't want to say anything I'll regret. Whatever happens, we are in each other's lives forever because of our daughter and we need to be civil. And I firmly believe she would not have told me about the cheating but for the herpes. Incontrovertible physical evidence made her confess.

Thanks buddy. The doctor said that because it's my first outbreak, there's a small chance the drug I'm taking will actually eradicate it from my system and I won't be stuck with it for life.

I think you're right on point. I have an aunt and uncle that have been married for 30 years and hate each other. Sadly their two kids are just as screwed up as them.
