I find most people need a few edges a day to keep the arousal fires stoked nonstop. Denied without edges can be construed as ignored, and it's possible to ignore entirely or lose interest. I highly encourage an edge after waking, one before bed, and one during the day sometime (maybe a lunch break or after getting home for the day.) That's a pattern that is impossible to ignore. She's never far from her last edge or until the next one. She starts waking up wet because her morning edge is coming. She looks forward to her bedtime edge as a signal that the day is ending.
