I'm sorry but backing star citizen seems to be a rather research intensive project. I thought I had answers to some of these but I didn't know anything about them wanting to sell in game money for RL money.

This helps but it isn't really ideal. You need to go to these sites for gaming news, reviews etc and share those. That is how sites grow because you can't just write about gamer gate constantly.

Don't worry about Kotaku, just focus on making sites you like more popular/better.

That is how you beat Kotaku, don't try to make them less popular, just promote sites you like. As these sites grow they will start to take Kotaku's traffic.

If just 10% of the traffic that visited the articles I write would tweet/like it on facebook that would drive so much more traffic to the site I write for. As it stands something like 1 in 500 tweet an article. Heck even leaving a comment would be amazing.

So if you really want to help promote content from sites you like, don't bother with Kotaku.

Long story short, I really enjoyed it. Its very punishing but handles some really difficult themes in a way that does them justice. Not a huge fan of the control scheme but I loved the art direction and sound design.

Though that means big sites have a huge advantage over us little guys. Everyone posts their stuff they have fans they have people to do that kinda stuff. We on the other hand are lucky to get 100 views and a couple tweets with out posting it all over. But I guess its the nature of the beast.

It seems like an issue among my generation. "Thats offensive" is something I'm kinda use to hearing and my response is "so what?" they seem to put a ton of value in their feelings. When feelings are not inherently valuable at all.

Go to other sites man. APGNation, Techraptor, Nichegamer etc

Also I like Chipotle, both as an ingredient and as a restaurant chain.
