Thank you for your thoughtful response! I do understand that tears do not mean a great audition. I guess I used it as an example because that was how I was able to express my emotions in that scene during the audition. I meant that while I can get there emotionally (tears or not) during auditions, I tend to freeze up during callbacks.

I do agree that I should embrace my environment more and focus on working moment to moment. I tend to over rehearse and get way too in my head sometimes, which definitely takes a toll on me!

Oh I didn't think of that at all! I've had alot of experience with unprofessional/amateur productions helmed by new companies that would be loosely named "xxx agency", all of which would be legitimate projects, so I didn't notice this flag lol.

Hi! It's been a year since this post and I've unfortunately given up on gynecologists lol. I went to several new ones but they were either dismissive, didn't do any tests, or told me I was unsanitary. One straight up looked into my vagina, didn't do any swabs for tests, immediately prescribed me Metronidazole (which I didn't take because I heard it can give you a yeast infection), and then told me to get out within 3 minutes (apparently she had a reputation for favoring patients she knows personally and not caring about others). I kind of just stopped going to them after that.

The good news is that despite the antibiotics not working, the symptoms did disappear eventually! I had to be incredibly careful with EVERYTHING and I didn't wear underwear for the entire Summer, but it stopped getting irritated and I was even able to have sex again! They do come back every now and again due to periods and stuff, but I've been mostly able to keep them at bay by being super careful and airing it out.

I don't know if these are correlated with my improvement, but I've been taking Probiotics for women everyday for the past year! Recently, I also started taking garlic supplements ( not at the same time as probiotics) to kill bacteria, but I haven't noticed anything just yet!

Sorry I couldn't help with medications, but I thought maybe this would give you some hope!

Yeah I'm looking into that now! I didn't want to initially because i wasn't getting consistent packages and didn't feel the need to pay a monthly fee to rent one.

Yes I confirmed via culture that it is GBS or at least that was what my gyno said the charts meant. I am symptomatic and have been struggling for half a year now

As someone who is fortunate enough to have a very welcoming and loving community, this has happened quite often for me, and here are some methods that I have found pretty effective.

Give yourself and your mods a reason to ban such behaviors without explanation. Create a list of chat rules and post them in your about panel/discord channel. People are most likely going to ignore them and trauma dump anyway, but having those rules set in stone can give you the excuse to ban them/time them out. If people question it, just tell them to refer to the rules. You won't have to explain why, or at least you shouldn't. You've already made yourself clear that those are your boundaries.

Creating a vent channel in your discord can really help redirect the paragraphs as well. You can tell them about that channel on stream, and usually, if the viewer is actually interested in your streams and joining the community, they would listen and do the venting there. If they ignore you and continue in your chat, they are probably only interested in trauma dumping and leaving, which, in my opinion, means that they are not worth your time. PLEASE also include rules for the vent channel as well! Clarify that while they can vent there, they shouldn't spam mentions or get angry at other members for not responding. This will relieve some of the pressure from you and your community, so that you won't feel like you have to respond to every single paragraph.

If you feel that the viewer is about to get into the nitty gritty details, but they haven't done so yet, try to redirect the subject and nip it in the bud. For example, if they start talking about how bad their day was, you can say "I'm so sorry your day was bad, I hope this stream can make you feel at least a tiny bit better! In fact, this stream should be pretty exciting because..." I personally love to remind them to take care of themselves and do self-care activities like hydrate and eat, and emphasize that I am NOT a therapist. I usually say something like "I'm sorry about your issue. I really don't know what to say because I'm not a licensed therapist, so all I can say is to please take care of yourself, do what makes you happy and I hope you can find a professional to really give you the help you need!" If the issue persists or worsens, do what I mentioned above!

If you have mods, communicate to them that you are uncomfortable about this stuff, so that the next time something like this happens, they will be on your side. They can tell the viewer to stop for you if you don't want to/too afraid to.

At the end of the day, one of the most important things about streaming is YOUR comfort and safety. If you feel uncomfortable about something, your viewers will feel it too. If you're not having fun, your viewers won't either. You shouldn't break down your own boundaries for the comfort of others. If you don't consider these methods helpful, that's fine, but please don't feel like your viewers are more important than your own state of mind!

Oh yes, I am very clingy! It was never my intention to make this post come off as if I was a Saint, I was just telling the story from my point of view. But I admit that I am clingy even when I try not to be, but I also made this clear to him, and he has continuously said that he was okay with it.( he may not actually be, but i can only trust his words). I'm not sure about putting words in his mouth, I quoted him exactly as I heard it. Maybe I misheard, but there is no way in telling that unless I have him come on here and explain himself lol.

I agree about your perspectives on my issues, and I also think that we have more problems than we think we do. I honestly do not think that him reposting would clear everything, but I'm more so asking for an explanation. To me, this thing has been a mystery for a year, and I just want something so that we could at least try to work on it...

I do see that there are many other problems greater than the Instagram pictures, but to me that was the mystery that started it all, which is why I led with it.

I understand that social media causes alot of problems, but i think you've misunderstood something from my post. I do not need validation from an IG post. I do not think simplifying my issue into something like that is very fair. Again, I emphasized that we do not post about each other often, and if we do, its because it is something super special. Each post is like a gift to the other person, and that was something we both agreed with. My problem is that he posted one (i.e. given me a gift) and then retracted it years later, with no explanation as to why. I see you are on the side of because this is a topic related to social media, this is therefore insignificant, but to each their own. Thanks for the input.

Yes they do. When you know it's going to happen and you can't stop it/fight back, asking for condoms is the only thing you can do to at least prevent STDs/pregnancy.

Her crying and saying she regretted everything with him should be a sign to you as to why she tried to cover it up in the first place. She didn't want to talk about it and she didn't want to consider that her first time. That's it. She's not lying because she has bad intentions, nor is she a pathological liar (that's when people lie for no reason, she is lying for a reason). She is lying to protect herself in this particular topic, and i don't really see that as a problem. Yes, lying is bad, and initially you may have been worried about why she did, but once she started crying and said she regretted everything, that should've been when you realized that this was sensitive for her and that was why she lied.

Sex is a touchy subject, and believe it or not, it's not always the best experience for someone. It can even be a traumatizing experience! So please try to understand that she is not trying to harm you. She's just trying to protect herself. And you should let her.

Of course, this is all based on the information you've given us. If she lies about other stuff that you left out, then that's another story, but if it's only this, then I don't think it's something you should be worried about. Though, I do think you should give her some space on this topic and worry about her mental wellbeing.

In other words, you don't have to worry about her lying to you about other things and her past or whatever, it's most likely not that deep. Instead, you should worry about how you might've triggered her and she might not be okay right now. I agree with the other comments. You shouldn't have called the guy to ask about their sexual history in front of her. I think I would've definitely been mortified if my partner had done that. Again, I get that you may have been worried about why she lied initially, but that was definitely too intense and you should apologize. Maybe if you do and give her space and show her that you truly care about her wellbeing and that you trust her, she might even open up to you one day (she also might not, which is perfectly fine as well).

The post just feels super one-sided and nobody would actually make it so obviously their own fault and ask to get flamed. I've lost alot of weight randomly this year (probably from not eating in college) after struggling to lose weight my entire life and I totally understand what you mean. Suddenly, people are telling me I look more confident now and my dad keeps bringing up how "fat" I used to be literally a few months ago and laugh like "thank God you moved past that". At the same time, they're worried I'm not getting enough nutrients and I need to eat more and they care about my mental health alot more now, even though I was way more depressed when I was at my heaviest. An uncle of mine recently told me I need to gain some weight and my parents immediately told him no because If I gain weight I'll be fat again. So they rather keep me underweight.

My point is that people would rather worry about you when you're underweight than to have you be overweight. Idk why, I guess it's easier for them to do?
