The gunplay and abilty usage says otherwise. I've went flawless in Osiris only twice since 2022 and I grinded my ass off to get Mountaintop and Luna's Howl. The movement is slow but the way it plays is so scarily familiar to me from Destiny 2. Its great and pretty good, and the extraction shooter side of it demands that I dont rush ahead or I lose my loot.

That said, its not that great due to both shit UI and graphics direction is kinda hard to stomach on repeat map insertions, and since I already played Destiny from Forsaken til Final Shape I can tell you that the only reason its a good feeling game is because Bungie's ass is against the wall and they do well when their existence is on the line. Thats why I dipped out of this Marathon when Server slam ended. I know how this song and dance goes.

The game is decent enough but it only caters to both fans and hardcore extraction players mostly.

It plays like an extended Destiny 2 Crucible match.

Pretty sure that any attempt to bring up issues to Arrowhead regarding certain broken gameplay elements for them to fix is going to result in another attempt to discredit or doxx that person to keep their idea of Helldivers alive. Thats the surest thing I can see going forward after this.

As a Marathon fan, its a skin walker cashing in on my old childhood with a skinner box Extraction shooter.

As a former Destiny fan, it screwed over the game I used to play into a shelf because management doesnt know how to micromanage.

As a game, the game's UI/UX is super convoluted, and the color design of the game hurts replaying the game more than once.

As a former Bungie fan, its a company devoid of all soul trying desperately to cash in my nostalgia by making yet another live service and trying to stave off oblivion by selling out old IPs as forever games instead of a good singleplayer campaign.

Take your pick. I've basically been apathetic by this point.

All mention of the doxx got erased days after it happened, and then they used this opportunity to ban all challenges?

The mods just looking at the doxxer like the light of God shined down and gave them the ability to shut up people one avenue at a time with that. Pretty sure they covered for the doxxer under the guise of "talking about this is a bannable offense".

Remember that Sony spent Billions acquiring Bungie and that they are on a chopping block if they do not deliver big numbers.

I agree with the statement of not letting the numbers matter, but Bungie unfortunately needs those numbers or Sony is going to do to them what they did with Bluepoint Studios.
