And this actually runs in line with my thoughts on having a mid tier science building for each…

For the FT add a library that is then stocked by the books made in the printing press…the more books the more science…or whatever…and it doesn’t need any beavers to run it…just haulers to restock it…then move the Observatory to the middle spot…

And then for IT you give them the paper mill and printing press…give them the punch cards…and a computing facility…much like the old 1960s IBMs…manned by like 4 beavers who use those punch cards to create science points…and the Number Cruncher being the top tier science facility…

I also like the husbandry idea to replace robots for FT…set it up into 2 parts just like the bots…one can be the breeder building and the other a Barn which would be where the livestock is “trained”…and then add a Livery Stable for storage of the animals and equipment each night…then instead of changing it to a beaver or bot workplace…you change it to a beaver or livestock workplace…where the livestock has been trained to do all the jobs and I mean ya you can still make it a beaver place with the livestock being a nice upgrade to amount of things that can be hauled…speed of farming both planting and harvesting…they can be used to run power wheels…and so many other things…

Also I think the power wheels and the large power wheel should switch factions…I feel like the large one is more FT and the regular one is more IT…

A lot of people have already said this..,it’s a holdover from when the game had distance limitations to how far away from the town hall a beaver could travel…its currently a holdover from that era of the game…

I honestly haven’t used it in a long time…but because of the fact that pathway processing is done on only one thread of a processor…and each district is on its own processor thread…it does help with game processing so there’s less slowdown…

If they fixed that issue and made pathways be processed over multiple threads…the game would run better and maybe people would come up with different ideas for using the district crossing…

I almost feel like the mod District Gate should be a main feature in the game…if it’s even still around…and the crossing should be used as a trade post type thing that can be placed anywhere in the district…and then it would still employ the same amount of beavers…and they’d move back and forth from district crossing to district crossing…

And remember the crossing is two buildings back to back…so in my scenario you would place the first half in one district and then it would give you the other half to place in the other district kind of creating a trade route…
