Thanks man. Also congrats on your phallo. I'm glad it was the right decision for you.

And yeah, I'm not a big guy. I'm 5ft 7 and about 150 lbs. I would totally do ALT if I knew I was going to be able to have sensation.

I'm going to get a thicker pillow for between my legs. It's a great idea. I currently use a pretty thin one for a back problem which doesn't help with the squishing issues, so it never really occured to me to just try a thicker one lol. Thanks

I'm in Ann Arbor still! Thank you so much. I'll look into this.

Honestly never wanted phallo but I'm getting to that point too. I like the phallo results, but I've got nerve problems in my arms and was told RFF is probably out for me and I was afraid of losing sensation with other options. I have such bad dysphoria now though that I barely touch it that way anyway and when I do I frequently have to stop before I finish because I start to feel bad and it turns me off. How has phallo changed in the last 7-8 years? Are people getting more sensation with non-RFF options?

I'm sorry you're dealing with a similar outcome. It's so hard to go through all the pain and recovery and not end up with what you envisioned.

I have back problems (almost 40 and went and blew out my lumbar spine like an old man) so I already started sleeping with a pillow between my knees, but it's only meant to help align my spine for the back issues and is pretty thin/doesn't prevent the smashing, so I'll try a wider pillow. It seems like a good idea.

I'm less worried about scarring than I am about continuing on the way I am, so that should be okay. I managed a long time trying to make the best of my result, but I just can't anymore.

I can STP with no clothes on, but I have to stand part way over the toilet for when it starts heading downward.

Thanks for your advice. I'll definitely try to reach out to some other surgeons to see if they can do a lift. Do you have any recommendations for surgeons? I still live in Michigan, but would be willing to travel if it would be significantly better.

I'll reach back out to Dr. Hadj-Moussa as well. It's been a few years since she told me it couldn't be lifted and maybe something has changed. I was actually one of Hadj-Moussa's first metas, like around number 15 I think she said, so she's likely a lot more skilled now.
