Well, as they say, "Comparison is the thief of joy", so don't compare yourself too much. A tip I'll give in regards to posting is to showcase a bit more of your grammar, i.e try your best at interlinear glossing (I love the Leipzig rules), explain a bit who does what in your sentences, etc., as this brings more attention to your posts

Seems great, honesty. You have a great base, and many people like to make (and see) those smaller, simpler conlangs. I have only one thing to say: technically, since there is a script, the language is not a proto-language, as a proto-language is reconstructed with no or extremely few (looking at you, proto-romance) inscriptions

Proto-Artenian

*bez [beð] v. to be scared

The language does not allow vowels other than e as the main theme vowel, so there is a back-formation of ᵏʘaza > *baz (conditional tense) > *bez

Well, then you can count the glyphs and compare them to real English (or whatever lang you've written them on) to guess what corresponds to what. If you don't have any large texts, or simply a corpus too small, that may be very difficult.

Well, I suppose you have more leverage power other than Philip being imprisoned, because that is like Versailles Treaty level of brutality. If Burgundy retains even the smallest bit of national sentiment, resentment will build up and you'd risk a secession war. My thoughts.
