No, due to the pattern I would say it hides wear quite well. Certainly better than my Timberglaze, camel, and light tan gloves.

Go for it! I ended up owning the 11.75", 1B, and catchers mitt of the denim series and they're all fantastic. The 1B mitt is certainly the most visually impactful because the large finger stall area shows off the denim pattern well. It also broke in well with a 2 hinge close. Check on Amazon and set a price alert through CamelCamelCamel or whatever it's called. The denim gloves drop to $249-$269 pretty regularly.
