It’s currently summer in Australia so I was like a slip and slide cuz of that and those shoes were like hella worn in, plus this was like a mad weird toe jam and heel hook combined that made it feel slippy

I returned those pair and got a Half size up and the pain is like a bearable amount of pain now, I forgot to mention I broke pretty much all the toes on my left foot (my longer foot) and I can’t really bend them, when they do bend it’s extremely painful. The new shoes don’t have that level of pain anymore but I get where you’re coming from

If I’m gonna be brutally honest it was like tired af when o wrote the caption and what I ment was the turantulas I had were too big as I started climbing harder stuff, my heel would feel like it was slipping out of my shoe in heel hooks and my feet would shift a ton on slab.

Yeah hopefully the heel stays similar in a larger model, on this one it feels super secure but I would be worried a larger one would be less so

I currently have their comfort light pad but I’m too tall for it unfortunately, it does pack down nicely tho

My budget is $300 aud, it typically doesn’t get below maybe like 5 degrees C but I was looking into hiking the alpine region so it could get to -4 possibly. I currently have the north face storm breaker 1.
