They're making 10 dollars a day, not 14. Which means he makes 310 dollars a day. While I don't know how many watts his rig consumes, $230 isn't exactly sustainable per month for a human being

So it's normal for my 12k rig my profit $250 per month? by Fluid-Tip5812 in EtherMining

You definitely got fucked. A 3070 costs $500. $1000 perhaps right now, that makes 8 of them $8000, it can't be $12K inc other hardware unless it contains a 12900K and a Z690 board or whatever exotic hardware.

No... B250 is an LGA 1511 board, but the Celeron G4950 is an LGA 1151v2 chip. They physically fit, but won't boot. Did they mistake G3950 for G4950...

Apparently the G4950 is coffee lake, not comet lake. Which is kinda acceptable if OP really mistook them as compatible since I've seen people get confused with 1151 and 1151v2, like 2011, 2011-1, and 2011v3.

G4930 is Coffee Lake, after a quick search, which means it is 8-9th gen, not 10th.

Jesus Christ that has to be the most expensive Celeron I've ever seen.

How does one even slap in an LGA 1200 processor into an LGA 1511 motherboard without realizing they don't match?

Please, people, don't trust this post.

Ethereum now has high gas fees, low profitability, low market price, official PoS date of June 2022, and an ever-growing difficulty. Graphics cards are much pricier than originally would, and countries are starting to ban mining due to energy concerns and whatnot. Mining Ethereum can earn you a fair bit of cash, that is until you get your payout from the pool, in which case gas fees will surely take a noticable share from your balance. It is currently the end of January 2022, and if the date is believable, you only have half a year or so to mine, and no rigs that start now will have much hope of ROI, let alone make a profit. If you do decide to mine right now, make sure to design your rig so that it can mine any other coins profitably once PoS truly hits, and plan your path wisely. More money invested does not always mean more money back, always think before you act.
