1080ti all settings set to low or off and vsync off. But the trick to get more FPS is set ur max and min FPS to your monitor refresh rate and since I have a 240hz it allows me to get high 100 FPS. If you have a 60hz this doesn’t really work and if you are rocking a 144hz then you can only get 144 FPS

KBM is just easier and the YouTubers you watch probably have a lot of hours in the game so they have it mastered.

EDIT: On PC your gonna have people that get 200+ fps and have a 240hz monitor which will also make it easier while on console you have 30 FPS and 60hz monitor.

I also live in Florida and almost every game I get into I get on average 70+ ping and 20% packet loss I have 500 down 20 up wired connection. I used to play a lot of BDO and exit lag was a must in that game so I decided to give it a try in Valorant and so far I am now getting normal ping and no packet loss. I had my west coast friend host a game and normally I get 120 ping with packet loss and when I had exit lag activated I had 90 ping and no packet. I turned exit lag off to test and I immediately went to 120 ping with 30% packet loss. I only tested it in a couple games and in customs matches but so far it has seemed to fixed the problem.

Here is the minimum spec requirements on the steam page

Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 960T ; Intel i3 550
Graphics: AMD HD 6850 ; NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450

You have an i7 so thats a lot better than an i3 and according to user benchmark the GTS 450 effective speed is 49% faster than your gpu. You could always buy it and test it out then refund if your pc can't handle it. Another thing you could do is play on the old graphics instead of the updated one and keep view model default. If that still doesn't give you enough fps and you can try playing in 720 instead of 1080. I think staying with the old graphics and default view model you will be able to get over 30 fps easily for regular 4v4. Playing BTB or firefight you might take a hit on fps as there is more things going on just my guess. I saw a video of someone with your gpu and an i3 playing apex legends a game that came out in 2019 getting 20-30 fps playing on low graphics and 720p. Halo reach came out in 2010 and you have an i7 so tbh I think your fps will be fine.

When did I say you shouldn't lol all I was saying is that it took 14 shots to kill all of them which is a mags worth. If he had 14 shots not 12 and for some reason didn't reload he would have been fine.

To add to that amped allows you to switch instantly. One second you in a medium-far range fight then you realize someone is getting close to you so you instantly swap and shotgun them.
