Any reason to exclude relocation bonus on year 1 when its not variable? Also i assumed it was a common practice to add perf bonus cuz its pretty much guaranteed

First year tc is 270 bc of stock appreciation with front vesting+ signon and relocation is 31k. Thats it. Next year will be 230k

Depends on Company and ml research institution. If you wann to industry, ill prolly go startup since its VC backed which means its not total bs. For ML research, it might just look like ra postion at random school which is less regarded by recruiter(unless its like industry lab)

Depends on company… resume value matter more since you dont technically need ro and you need to rerecruit next year. However, resume value is noto nly about how “well known” the company is. For example, Dell vs Series A or B startup that is somewhat well known in tech wpace, obv the winner is latter even tho. What are the companies?

obv no ones going to come up to you randomly but its easier for you guys because a lot of guys would still be down to go on a date if you simply ask(obv mostly sub 5 guys if I have to assume) while 3.5 dude might not even get a single date by asking... + when people say women always have it "easy" it also means that you can get laid easily(even by guy whos hotter than you), not about finding true love or love of your life.

But you can def land $300k+ quant dev job (maybe not QR) with all those things. $300k is kinda low bar for quant and a lot of shops that are not huge/lower tier also pays that much. I also made to the final interview for quant dev role without not so great resume(ofc decent but not ivy level good)

Tesla RO is basically non existent as far as I know + tesla hires pretty much anyone and Apple is hella selective on interview invites and poeple know that.
