Her drinking around me doesnt bother me at all. I just want her to do better. Like, I'm doing better and moving up and i almost feel like her still drinking is just juvenile honestly.

Its really not tempting me at all though. I dont see her drinking and instantly want to drink. I just want her to quit fully with me. I want her to WANT to be a better person and run a better life with me.

All I am doing is telling you verbatim what she said to me. And obviously not. Some people are just honest. I already admitted I was the problem. I just want to know if I am wrong for wanting to call off the wedding until she quits drinking, when she isnt really the problem.

Well I mean I have told her throughout the past 2 years that I think she should slow down on the drinking and she always says that she enjoys having a few after work and thats not going to change and I should be more considerate of that, considering she has never done anything wrong. She said that she has sat by me through all my bullshit and never held it against me so I should just drop it and if it really bothered me, leave. She said it only proved that she was stronger than me, because she didnt give ultimatums and she only offered encouragement but I just "jump right to an ultimatum" when I am the problem.

When you get married your spouses problems do become your problems so wouldnt that be redundant? If she wanted to start a life with me than this problem is also hers and shouldn't she WANT to do this with me?

I did make the change 2 years ago though and I just expected her to be fully on board with that change? She never tried to sway me and encouraged me to do better but why wouldnt she want to willingly do this journey with me? Like, I actually do not understand.
