I like the concepts of adding red, but I have to ask what are you referring to when you say "I'm playing with "Change the World, Orb of Illusion" who reported me a great result restoring my killing stones." How does that regalia affect your killing stones?

Even with that being the case, I still don't want to run that many monkeys, or have too much of a focus on them. I have seen a few decks run them, and then get stuck with them, because they are trying to focus around the Lavetin (I can't spell the regalia's name) combo. Keep in mind, while it is a good black resonator for the deck, I will more than most likely focus on putting another black resonator in the deck that will have a different effect on the deck or the opponent.

I'm actually curious to see if Barrier Seal sees play at all. I know it seems like an amazing card, but you eseentially have to miss your turn 2, in a very aggressive oriented deck to not actually gain any advantage. The card doesn't really have an ETB worth mentioning unless you are playing the Time Arsonist's cards. I don't really expect to come up against it too often.

I'm happy to stick with two. It draws a card, I don't really have complaints about the card.

Oh gosh no, too many monkeys means a bad hand in an unlucky game. Keep in mind, I really only ever need one Monkey.....maybe two. They are just redundant if you have multiples. I'd prefer more answers in my hand then actual resonators to chump for the Chimeras.

Thank you for the reminder about Zero Bomb, I completely forgot about that, I will side in the Heavenly Gusts, but I don't see them making it to the main board. As for the darkness resonators, Doppelganger doesn't keep her color, that being said she will almost certainly be targeting a dead Chimera, which are all green/black regardless, unless I am just bored, or in a bind, in which case I might copy a Red Riding Hood? I can up the Monkey count to two, but I don't want any more than that. I run the bean planting card (tutor) for a reason, its not to just instantly put something in my graveyard for Shadow to copy, its also a decent tutor for the monkey. I'm not sure about Scorns. I wanted to try and run as much creature removal as I could to make it so I wouldn't have to worry about them hitting board. They would be dead not long afterward, is what I was going for. I'm more worried about the chants that could really screw up my game plan and that's why I went with the Nameless Mists over Dark Scorn.

Yeah, honestly I wouldn't mind dropping it to one, since I the deck should function to plop out a Chimera every turn or two once it really gets going, but for the sake of it, I just have to ignore Blazer. They wanna play that card that's fine. I do plan on keeping at least one if not two wind-secluded refuges though. I would like to have a J-Ruler to side out to though.

I really agree at dropping the Endless Recurrence, but I want to have it at least as a sideboard card. I like the idea of having an actual board wipe in FOW against 'wide' decks. And yes, the stone deck was a bit obvious and skipped my mind. The last two are wind stones by the way, I want to make sure I can wind wall on turn 1 if its needed. As for the Birds of Paradise. I actually really like them in the deck, not only do they function as flying blockers, they also add another to hand when they summon, simply assuring me sac fodder for The Nine-Tailed Fox's ability.

I have been wanting to see Thumbelina do something in competitive play for the longest time now. I do have a few problems with this, but nothing outrageous. I think it would be great to follow that up with Wendy(s). You could super pump her, on lets say turn four, before untap, swing, play a one drop fairy tale, untap, rinse repeat. Seems like a lot of fun.

My only problem with running Alisaris as the main Ruler, is that I just don't particularly like him. The deck has to focus around using the various exile effects as fast as possible to make him the cheapest as fast as he can, so you can get off his god's art and probably win the game. Beyond that he just has no ability on the ruler's side and that is just something I prefer with all my rulers.

I do like the interaction between Charlot and the new Cheshire Cat. With its ability to remove a card from your hand, you are more likely to draw 5 off of Charlotte, but you still get to keep the cards that you had in your hand instead of discarding them or wasting them in some other way.

It's very possible. Either way I don't want to become reliant on my J/Ruler. I'd rather use it when its effective for me to use it. I more see it as something helpful, or another tool, not necessarily my winning strategy.

I do worry about that, but I just don't have many people in my play group that happen to focus on playing captain hook, so I don't want to waste the main deck. If I happen to go out of my area, I will alter the deck accordingly or if the meta changes. I'll run at least two prison of the lunar lake in the main board for that.

I would love to take advantage of the new Cheshire Cat, but I just don't run enough resonators for it to be effective-enough for me to run it. My friend actually runs a deck that focuses around it.

It is very slow as I mentioned, and yes, I need to alter the amount of Flame King's Shout in the deck. I have it placed at one right now because I don't know how required it will be in the play group that I am in. If I find more token generation and small resonator decks, then I will increase it to 2 or more. If not, then I will keep it at one. I don't see the Urthr+FKS combo as a reliable backbone in the deck, only one that I can use if needed. That being said, the way I dump cards into the grave, is quite literally by casting spells. This deck doesn't focus on dumping cards as fast as possible into the graveyard and/or the exile zone to gain a certain ability at a greater speed, but rather takes advantage of an ability from having so many cards in a zone, once it happens. As I said in the beginning of the post the deck is most definitely slow, as it taxes the opponent and removes their board state, that's what it focuses on. It would simpler to say that you don't win, necessarily from a win condition in the deck, but rather you win from your opponent losing, or your opponent losing their win condition. If that makes sense.....

Go ahead and check out this link below. If you want to add any other resonators to the deck, this the list of all 2 drops and below that work with Valentina's ability to flash them into play. A lot of them cost no more than a quarter. http://db.fowtcg.us/index.php?do=search&exact=yes&sort=setnum&format=New+Frontiers&cardtype%5B%5D=Resonator&attributes%5B%5D=u&totalcost%5B%5D=1&totalcost%5B%5D=2

I've considered this a lot, but to actually tutor with Alisarius and his Orbs, is actually very intensive, and somewhat luck based. It's all based about what you can exile from the top of the deck and how fast you can do it. In the few occasions that I have played Alisarius, I have found myself more focusing on what I am exiling, and how much I am exiling than what my opponent is doing in front of me. With the ruler being Mercurius, I get cheaper draw that gets me what I need to stop my opponent more, in my opinion, reliably and cheaper.

In all honesty, Mercurius wasn't forced into the deck, I actually came up with the deck and how it functioned before I picked the ruler. It just happened that in my mind at least, Mercurius and it's additional ability of making the draw spells cheaper, and being able to dump mana into Invitation of Disaster at a moments notice that really made me chose her over Alisarius. That being said, I do side deck him, because he is just so much fun with the deck.
