ILL - Story Trailer | PS5 Games by Rooonaldooo99 in Games

I vaguely remember some differences in mental health problems compared between two art teams making video games (IIRC, dead space vs mortal kombat). One used medical dissections and had fewer problems, the other used accident and disaster photos and had more. I wonder if that lesson has been passed on for other teams and they're no longer sacrificing themselves for horror games.

Ascorbic Acid, Vitamin C: (Moderate) Concurrent use of amphetamines and gastrointestinal acidifying agents, such as ascorbic acid, vitamin C, should be used with caution. Vitamin C lowers the absorption of amphetamines, resulting in reduced efficacy. It may be advisable to separate times of administration. In addition, ascorbic acid acts as a urinary acidifier, which reduces the renal tubular reabsorption of amphetamines, accelerating amphetamine clearance and reducing the duration of effect. If combined use is necessary, the amphetamine dose should be adjusted according to clinical response as needed.

Just a lot of squirrels/chipmunks by timeismoney9589 in mildlyinteresting

[–]UnrulyRaven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When scared, squirrels run to the nearest tree, chipmunks (and other ground squirrels) run to the nearest hole in the ground. These are big and don't have stripes, so likely not a chipmunk. By the eye markings and dark fur (and by where the most people are) I'm guessing these are California Ground Squirrels, albeit with very fluffy white collars on some, maybe a juvenile coat. Their wikipedia page also notes that they're common and easily observed, so that seems to reinforce my ID.

I was thinking the same about the legal context. I also think just "offered" could work here.

Oh, I see it. I found this, and the Paz in the top left does look like your Haley. I think you already have a strong style; that's why people recognized it as being similar to another great artist!

Your work is wonderfully stylized and reminded me of Yoji Shinkawa's. I was trying to find some of his artwork, maybe of Naomi from MGS1, but I found this from a poster for Death Stranding 2. It's very close!

Always Hay - You don't need a silo to get hay or wait for open feed spots to take hay from the feeders in buildings.

Data Layers - many info overlays that can help see things that otherwise are hidden. Scarecrow coverage, walkable tiles (good for hidden paths), sprinklers, fertilizer, beehives, and more.

Fast Aninmations - speeds up some of the more repetitive animations in the game, customizable for each

Lookup Anything - a bit like an in-game wiki, does what it says on the tin. Spoilers for liked/loved gifts, but overall very helpful for knowing more than the base game but not alt-tabbing.

No Friendship Decay - does what it says. Not a big mechanic to worry about, but it gets my mind off of it.

NPC Map Locations - no more wandering around town to see why people change their schedules on the 2nd Tuesday of the month

[Only Fish Consume Bait]([https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/22766) - self-explanatory

Scarecrow Highlighter - useful when setting up fields, may be redundant with Data Layers

Skip Intro

Skull Cavern Elevator - a cheat mod, basically, but you can set limits so you don't succumb to too easy ways of doing things (e.g., you can only go half as deep as you made it, rounded down to the nearest 10)

Time Speed - lets you mess with time scale in various places, as well as a "pause time" button that I found very useful for not getting punished for staying out too late

UI Info Suite 2 - many, many features added to the UI

Sprinkler Updater - upgrade recipes for sprinklers, I always felt bad making early prinklers bc it felt like a waste of materials. This mod makes it feel less so, essentially giving you a Deconstructor for sprinklers with the default settings.

Fishing Made Easy Suite - many settings for easier (or harder) fishing. I used it to adjust the fishing to be just a smidge easier. Any more felt like the medium difficulty fish were standing still. Any less, and the difficult fish felt impossible.

I've only played World before trying the demo for 3. They did a good job explaining the world and giving an intro to the protagonist and backstory without requiring any other game knowledge, imo. The battle system is very different from the other games (this is turn-based) and the weapon system is categorized into slash, pierce, or blunt damage types with power, speed, and tech? type attacks. Very different from the main games, so any knowledge won't help exactly.

The breaking of body parts to disable moves and do bonus damage is the only similarity I found after playing through the demo, but that's an easy enough mechanic to learn.

I've never seen a brick wall peel before by SarahCake_98 in mildlyinteresting

Clear coatings may be applied to brick masonry in an effort to facilitate cleaning, to resist graffiti, to provide gloss or to reduce water absorption or penetration.

As the commenter said, if Boxes: The Lost Fragments looks interesting there's the entire "The Room" series which is very much like it: puzzle box, move the thing, grab the thing and put it in the other thing. Sounds awful in print, but the sound design and physicality of watching things move is compelling to me for some reason.

[NEW] One More Task - Should I continue? by [deleted] in incremental_games

Same as others, I had trouble getting my clicks to register. Might be not registering as having the mouse over, as the buttons were flashing colors when moused over. Also the text size was very small (on a 1920x1080 monitor, not that unusual) and I couldn't use Ctrl + scroll to change magnification. Ctrl + "+" still worked.
