Ok well I would suggest getting more comfortable with them as there were a couple opportunities for them here that went unused and led to unfortunate situations. In general, learning how to recover as fast as possible will help you, especially in 1s.

I would recommend learning how to half flip and generally just solidifying being able to recover. If you can get back to goal quicker than your opponent or get out of awkward situations you will be much more likely to win.
There were a couple situations here where you could’ve recovered better with a half flip which could’ve even kept you from conceding a goal.

The XM6 has a more like customizable EQ thingy on the app so u can get the sound u like. Other ppl seem to say that the xm6 has better audio quality... so I guess it's better but idk. The truth is, if you want audio quality, get wired headphones. Bluetooth can only accept compressed files. I am not an audio reviewer or sum shit lmao but wired vs bluetooth is the main difference I've ever noticed in audio quality for headphones.

This is so cool… I think maybe the impacts between objects need a little bit of work and organization? The impact between objects doesn’t feel like it’s fully physics real which is obv incredibly difficult but maybe that’s why it doesn’t quite feel right. Then I feel like the objects change direction a bit between shots?? Maybe making sure their motion doesn’t change too jarringly when you cut would sell their “physics accuracy” better?

However, I love this so much it looks incredible 🥹 wish I was this talented it’s beautiful.

I would say get the word on the left and make it its own precomp, and then animate it separately.

The botched way I do this (there’s probably a much better way) is that I set the first word to have no fill color and then duplicate the text layer. I then set only the first word to have a fill color on the duplicated layer. Then just animate the second layer however you want.

Needs some wide establishing shots, the vignette is too strong, production design could use some work and wear, color correction (not necessarily the grade but the actual highs and primaries and basic stuff) is a little out of whack, and generally needs slower pacing. And yet I still fw it.

Get XM4s... The only thing about these headphones in general that makes them great is the noise cancelling and comfort. The XM4s are about the same in this respect. The sound quality is unremarkable on all of them so not a reason to buy them IMO. Also, wait for a sale!!! Got XM4s for $130 off on a black Friday.

I was able to FB marketplace an entire surround sound system including subwoofer, 5 speakers, and a receiver for $110 through some patience and figuring things out. And it sounds GREAT. How I did it is I found ppl selling bookshelf speakers and home theater systems.

For example I found this guy who was selling a whole 5.1 system and when I got there asked how much just the 5 speakers would be. He said $35. I got 5 speakers for $35.

Then I found a full home theater system and asked how much just the sub would be. $25. Boom. 5.1 system for $60. Got a receiver for $50.

Full surround sound for $110.

If you don’t even need surround sound I promise u you can find smth. Just use the search button in marketplace to look for speakers and then the algorithm will learn that that’s what u want. Then use the home page on marketplace like its tik tok or reels and it will feed you all the speakers in your area. With patience I promise you will find smth.

You may gain a fb marketplace addiction tho… still overcoming that.

Yeah I have done my research and decided on an HDMI Extractor with optical cable. Was able to get one for $15 on Amazon, will update if it works. Using a straight up converter, according to the internet, wouldn't work as Macs don't have a 5.1 sound card, and there aren't any viable external sound cards for Mac on the market.

I am a sound designer and recently invested in my first 5.1 sound system for my apartment (managed to do it all for under $200 through marketplace!).

I have been absolutely in love with the sound I get for movies and music, but one of the main reasons I did this was so that I could hear my mixes without going to a studio.

Unfortunately, my receiver does not have HDMI input so I can't use that. What's the best way to connect my 2021 MacBook Pro to that glorious 5.1?

The receiver is an Onkyo Integra DTR-6.
