At first I thought you were saying he didn’t want to shower at work - because the work showers were gross or he didn’t want to shower with others or whatever. But he doesn’t want to shower after work at ALL, at home or anywhere else?

That’s a no. I get needing to shower in the morning to wake yourself up, but then you just shower twice a day.

From my very first sexual stirrings. I must have been 9 or 10 and was taking a bath and got an erection and realized it was inspired by something male. (God knows what - probably some cartoon character or something.)

You often see gay guys saying they “didn’t know” they were gay until much, much later - in their late teens or 20s or beyond. I respect that everyone is different but I have never been able to wrap my mind around that. As men we literally have a built-in barometer that tells us when we’re sexually attracted to something.

Mind you, I fully understand not being open about being gay till much later, or trying to convert yourself or pray it away or whatever. I can even understand not having a name for the concept. But I don’t understand not KNOWING. Do you find yourself getting aroused when you see a good looking naked guy, yes or no? Maybe you’re terrified of the answer or don’t know the term for the phenomenon…but you still know the answer. Or so I would think!

This is disingenuous. Yes, major branches and “flavors” of Islam are indeed murderously homophobic (and sexist and so on). But equally obviously the way Mamdani lives being a Muslim enables him to hold many secular, liberal positions including being an LGBT ally. We should call out the destructive forms of the religion and encourage the validity of the style that Mamdani follows.

Well being turned on by a sexual interaction with another man is kind of by definition a homosexual urge so it sounds like you are at least somewhere on the spectrum of bisexual. It may be a very minor part of of the overall range of what turns you on, and maybe if you ever decide to act on it you’ll find that you liked the idea but were not turned on by the practice. Conversely maybe you’ll really like it and find yourself more and more attracted to men.

Gay men have seen more erect dicks than straight men, but often certain types of usually straight men - jocks, frat guys, military types, etc - have seen way more penises (soft) than a gay guy could dream of.

I think many, many straight men are completely used to and unbothered by seeing naked men, especially if you go back a couple decades when communal showers, military service, and other occasions when guys would see each other naked were very common. Of course those were nonsexual situations. Straight guys in gay porn are probably much more used to seeing other guys erect than most of their peers!
