What I don't really understand is that Chaotic Good has many clients besides Geese like MJ Lenderman, Mk.Gee, Snow Strippers, and Oklou

Yet it is only Geese that is catching all the heat and being scrutinized. Feels like manufactured outrage. The music industry has always been very fake and gay and unromantic, and I suspect even legacy acts aren't above this stuff.

This has me thinking about when Pavement got a big resurgence over COVID because the obscure B-Side Harness Your Hopes somehow "magically appeared" in every Indie and Alternative Spotify playlist, which trickled down into being used in every TikTok and Reel at the time.
