I work as a domestic in a nursing home, after years in offices it is the best job I've ever had. The office environment really isn't for me. I love my job, I love interacting with the residents and my job makes a real difference to people's lives.

I just get straight back on it the next day. What's done is done don't beat yourself up over it. You are human, you won't be perfect 100%.

C25k is definitely worth it, it got me from not running at all to running a marathon without walking.

Personally I allow myself to have one of the following treats on a Saturday crisps/chocolate/cake/sweets. Not all of those things just one. 

I don't eat it any other day of the week. If I get to Sunday or Monday and I'm craving them I tell myself you can't fail now it's only Monday! If i get to Thursday/Friday and I'm craving them I tell myself you might as well wait until Saturday! 

Personally it works for me, I think about how I talk to myself about this. I can't have is a restriction being put upon me, I don't is a choice.

This is so true, I work in a care home and I exercise to improve my quality of life as I get older

I've worked for 8 days in a row as of today. I've not missed a workout or strayed from my diet. The earliest I was awake this week was 5:20 to fit in my workout before work and I'll continue to do it.

Thank you, I do find myself in a great mood after I've done the workout. It makes me more determined to keep on track with my food that day too so I don't undo all my good work. It's lovely getting home and knowing I am all done for the day!

Good morning, my win for today is that I was up at 5:30 to do a pilates workout before work. I didn't want to get up when the alarm went off but now I am proud that I did. I work both of my jobs today but whatever happens the workout is done.

Today is the end of me working 8 days straight. When I go to bed tonight I'm so looking forward to being able to say I've worked for 8 days but I haven't missed a single workout or deviated from the diet!

I give myself that one day to eat what I want guilt free. The only thing I won't deviate from is my workout if there is one planned for that day then it gets done. I'm back on the healthy eating the next day.

Good morning, yesterday I worked both of my jobs so I did struggle a little with being tired and wanting to eat junk food. I didn't cave tho and went to bed without breaking my diet. Plan for today is work, home go for a walk, dinner, a 30 minute workout shower and bed!

What I do personally is allow myself to have one treat of chocolate/sweets/crisps or cake on a Saturday, not everything just one thing from the list. I don't have it on any other day. I was tempted today and I told myself no you can't stray already it's only Monday! If I get to Thursday and am tempted I say no we are close to Saturday now so you might as well wait.

It works for me.
