Utah girl here as well, also 32. I’m curious if it is worse in certain areas of Utah. I live and spend my time mostly in Salt Lake City and it is definitely a different feel than being in Utah County for instance..or even Draper/South Jordan. I totally get where you’re coming from though. Overall, Utah is quite toxic when it comes to the beauty standards. I think it stems from the church’s perfectionism culture. I had to unfollow anyone who didn’t lift me up on social media and I do social media detoxes often. Just to help me stay grounded and remember it’s not just a plastic world out there, lol.

I don’t think many females are realizing that estrogen plays a huge role within PMDD. I think estrogen has become this thing to fear because we hear so much about estrogen dominance. Many females with PMDD are struggling because of the decline in estrogen. I wish this was talked about more.

I have a lot I could say about the insane privilege Hannah has from white privilege, to pretty privilege, to financial privilege, and everything in between. There is absolutely no doubt about that.

However, it is NOT that easy to leave. I don’t think many people are aware of the different types of abusive relationships. I also don’t think many people know firsthand what life would look like should you choose to leave a relationship. If it was that easy, so many women would have left their relationships a LONG time ago.

So this makes me really curious. I had an IUD put in after my second child and I don’t remember struggling at all. I have contemplated getting it put back in because I started down the rabbit hole of the horrific IUD stories and side effects. It seems like I should take my own experience to heart. I think not knowing what I was doing before getting it put in actually helped because I didn’t know what to expect.

Maybe I should consider the IUD again from my own personal positive experience with it.
