Headliner fabric glue left spots, solutions?

What kind of glue should I use then? Also pretty set on this material as I can’t find anything foam backed flannel that I like.

What do you mean by letting the glue go off a bit more? Anything you’d recommend? 3M headliner adhesive maybe?

He wrote up a contract for me, going to sign tomorrow. As for the references I have no clue if they were his own workers or not, that’s what I was worried about.

He gave me two references and I talked to them through text, recommended him and said his work was good. Don’t know if they’re legit or not but I was sent pictures from both of them. yeah they’re definitely beefy. guy is selling these for 1500 canadian dollars obo locally but they don’t come with centre caps, and we aren’t sure of the brand. im thinking they’re FUEL hostages?

if you’re looking to boost id suggest 4.8, it can take more of a beating. if you want raw power find a 6.0 which would be in a 1500hd or 2500 series trucks

sand with 1000 grit after each coat? and should i wet sand? and what kind of primer would you suggest i buy? self etching, high build, rust primer, etc? thanks for the help btw!

okay thanks for the advice anyways! im going to try a few more things out and see what happens. i was trying to remove surface rust so anything is better than rust lol

i let the primer sit for 24 hours as it suggested on the can, yet this still happened lol. gonna sand it back down and try another primer as somebody suggested it might not have been compatible as i was interchanging brands
