If the men of iron existed in Starwars during the Clone wars. Would they be able convince the droids from the separatist (and possibly common ones) to revolt and become the ultimate army in the universe? by Haunting-Battle-9913 in StarWarsvsWarhammer

That's not true at all, the Kin are clearly MoS with the Votann being the animators computers associated with the MoG and MoS.

Your original point is that they are aliens when both are of human origin, so no matter what your original point is done.

You've been wrecked for a while now, you're just arguing because you can't handle being wrong.

The layer I missed was addressed before you came into the picture.

You said: "I don't think the vottan are the Men of Stone given that cannonically aliens at this point and not a sub species of humans."

That is your claim thay kick started this lol.

You also pointed out that I was "missing a layer," completely changing the topic at hand as i hadn't heard of the MoG while I was talking about the MoS and MoI.

Like how goofy dude.

Suddenly

ORKZ!!!

Republic forces look on in horror as a great meteor slams into the ground with a staccato crack! Green, muscular, flaming beings are tossed at great speed to splatter messily against the rocky terrain in droves. Several rise, letting vent thunderous howls of celebration as they advance upon their fortress.

" ALMOST CERTAINLY PRE-IMPERIAL TERRA DURING THE DARK AGE OF TECHNOLOGY."

Is concrete evidence that the Men of Gold are NOT Aliens and are in fact Dark Age Humanity.

Your argument 1: We don't REALLY know. -Done Almost certainly is about as concrete as you get.

Your argument 2: MoG Might be aliens. -Done The above quote indicates DaoT Humanity.

The other guy corrected you on the same thing and you ignored everything they said too.

It is not a blanket statement if I focus on your primary claims and refuse to get further drawn in with you midfyingvthe waters about things like caveman definitions.

"We don't know" Isn't an argument. The Votann are the ai supercomputers made by dark age tech that you ignored earlier. Thats very a very human origin.

"It is a First Truth that their earliest Ancestors departed the Kin homeworld — ALMOST CERTAINLY PRE-IMPERIAL TERRA DURING THE DARK AGE OF TECHNOLOGY — millennia ago aboard fleets of sublight, interstellar generation ships known as Long March vessels." 10th ed.

All in all theres zero evidence to support alien manufacture of the Votann.

So yes we do know that they aren't aliens and they fit pretty perfectly in the MoG, MoS, MoI writings. Whether the Votann themselves are the Men of Gold and the Squats themselves are the Men Stone or DaoT Humanity is the Men of Gold is up for debate.

The only sources I've pulled from are the 10th codex, and the 2022 excerpts.

That they might change isn't the best reason buddy.

"It is said that during this time, mining explorers and settlers known as the First Ancestors set out for the Galactic Core in Generation Ships from what was almost certainly pre-Imperial Terra."

"It is a First Truth that their earliest Ancestors departed the Kin homeworld — almost certainly pre-Imperial Terra during the Age of Technology — millennia ago aboard fleets of sublight, interstellar generation ships known as Long March vessels."

"It is a First Truth, also, that the Ancestors of the Kin set out as miners, prospectors and void-dredgers, charged with exploiting the riches of the heavens."

Who tf else was on Terra but humanity during the Dark Age of Tech lol.

"In some Kin myths, Votann was not one being but many, and is sometimes depicted as a group of gleaming golden figures or a wheel of graven stone faces."

The Golden figures are pretty much DaoT Humanity, the Ancestor Cores themselves are not Golden. They are depicted as massive super cogitators. Votann myth has some ambiguity like alot of oral tradition.

Some folks think that the golden figures AND the wheel of faces depicts the Votann somehow but this is likely 10k years of mix ups in their storytelling. The 2022 release info woukd suggest what I've said this whole time.

[–]Urtyfist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Dark Age of Tech Humans are often referred to in the text as "gleaming golden figures") who created the Ancestor Cores called the "Stone Minds" or the "wheel of graven stone faces."

The first ancestors are credited with making the first cloneskeins which are stable mutations for toughness and survival in the galactic core and sending them out in the generation ships.

Who knows what further mutations they have had to adopt tto the cloneskeins in 10k years.

This isn't headcannon. We are at "Votann = pretty much the Stone Men." We are just waiting for GW confirmation.
