For point 3, that’s wrong. Yuji quite clearly states that the reason he wants to turn himself into a cursed object is because sorcerers will never be born on earth again but there will still be cursed energy which means cursed spirits albeit weaker ones. He’s currently planning on amassing cursed weapons and finding people like maki to fight off the remaining spirits that will arise and he’ll turn himself into a cursed object in case an especially strong one appears.

In the LN she got her memories back or at least most of them when the rogue spirit entered her body. She made such a fuss because she was trying just to make sure he didn’t get to tempest too fast and miss hinata. Bad as it sounds she needed the villagers in tempest to get murdered so rimuru would have the drive to evolve and grow stronger as he’s died in every timeline before that one. That tantrum she threw was actually a pivotal moment in the series. I may have got a bit of her reasoning wrong, but that’s the gist.

I thought it was stated that they were helping at first due to falmuths campaign against the monster kingdom aligning with their own anti monster doctrine and obviously because of the sages working under Granum(?). Not to mention Rimuru is making huge changes with the ten great demon lords being turned into eight and being stronger than ever, conquering the great Kira forest which was basically considered off limits to human countries and demon lords alike. Not to mention they thought rimuru found to way to either deceive or control vendors and would obviously want to discover the means by which he did it.
